I am curious about these dang things, i may have even asked here before about them a long time ago with no luck, can't remember...

according to wiki and ffxiah these gears from t10 assault (dracula and hydra) add 30% to drain and aspir, 30% is a HUGE difference if this is true! Yet I have never seen any solid evidence to back that number, nor have I ever seen anyone with one of the armors, let alone both.

Have I missed test data for this set somewhere, has anyone here even tried to get them? I have begged and pleaded for a long time with my ls to do t10s for points for salvage and a chance to get these, but they are more interested in spamming RvB most of the time. And with what I'm sure is a low drop rate anyway my chances of getting them is about .001%.

I would love to at least be able to settle the issue in my mind of what exactly they do. If the 30% is false and the number is way lower, I wont feel such a need to beg ls for t10s, but if someone has confirmed that then I would perhaps make it my FFXI life goal to get the set lol...

Yeah, you might as well not waste your time on these. Sure, it's a great set, but you'd be lucky to see one of the two items, both of them is practically unheard of.
