So Im leveling my 60 DRK with my 63 PLD friend. I just got Guilly and piling on ACC has helped a lot.
Based on what Ive learned about Guilly, I told my friend to try piling on ACC for Vorpal Blade but, is this good advice?

Accuracy is the best stat for any multihit weapon skill. If you miss a single hit, your damage takes a big hit.

My rule of thumb is wear at least 10 more acc than your TPing set. 20 is probably preferable around the lower levels though. Once you reach that target, I'd say look more towards att.

they've got accuracy levels needed for every mob you'll commonly fight past level 55 or so on that accuracy calculator in the sticky. been known for a couple of years now.

In theory, can't you just parse your accuracy on a given mob, then work out from there the amount you need to hit cap? Like say you are parsing 85% hit rate with 300 total acc in your tp set (for some lower level), then you can roughly estimate that you need about 20 more acc to hit the cap. You could probably get a decent estimate of your accuracy after 5 or 6 mobs. You don't really need to know the exact stats of a mob to get a general idea of where you stand.
Except your parsed accuracy can be borked by any number of things:
Zanshin.
Hunter's Roll variances.
Madrigal up and then not up.
AoE Flash from Puks.
Hasso up, hasso down.
Evasion Down from Mezraq DRGs you might be with.
Gravity.
And all sorts of other stuff.
Thats why Gigagave youmentioned that linksticky. so you can know, exactly, your current accuracy total. Don't dick around trying to eyeball and guess when five minutes of math can save you five hours of gearjacking about trying to make your parse numbers look good.
