Well, the biggest thing that scares me about Ohat is having seen a crit fail where someone lost ALL of the eyes, I was standing at the AH, they were right next to me.
Then "Soandso loses a Golden hakutaku eye" etc, etc, etc, etc.
Hardcore.
I'll probably wind up just farming em after all, I just recall having seen like 350kish clusters, they're up at 600 again, so, eh, at 300 something k it's just not as efficient to farm up, 600k? I'll be killin some eyes.

Failed Hakutaku synths always lose all the eyes. It's one of those "S-E is laughing at us all" things... =/
Definitely trade up your eyes plus a few gil if you can. It's worth the peace of mind. Good luck.

I bought two of my eyes out of bazaars then found a completed cluster in a JP alchemists' bazaar and traded the three eyes+500k(the clusters were a mil at the time. the eyes had cost me 170k combined) for a completed cluster. Good times.

I have ready access to lots of lvl 75 Bst's.
So, getting the cluster is by far the hardest part, getting Haku just takes finding four or five of them bored and willing to beat an NM up.

Just got done getting 19 for my LS, plus 2 more, for other people when we just needed ToD, since we didn't have anyone on who wanted one at the moment. I never ever want to go to SSG sgain.

double sniper's/woodsman(whichever is cheaper) if you can. Woodsman/Venerer works ok till you can get 10 acc on rings slot.

Get a Swordbelt+1 and a Life Belt if you can, macro the Swordbelt+1 in when Aggressor is up.
