So, like hour 6 of a Chasm run on my DRK. Party disbanded a little over an hour prior, but some of us stuck around to fetch confluxes and pick on Murex. 30k EXP later, BLU says, "Last fight, almost 7am for me." We kill. Gold chest pops. RDM boots. Mine.

Funny thing is if they would've dropped in the alliance, I would've had to lot against at least 4 other people. While the BLU was after WAR feet (which dropped, but someone else won lot on), we didn't manage to hook him up. Nonetheless, pretty much need to start farming seals for all 3 pieces now (6/8 on legs at the moment).

Edit: And stars have aligned on the pants. Not only was I 7/8, but fatass put out third trade in. :3

Real rdms +1 their hat (which they got before wlegs and... AF) and get another nq for hnm resist sets.

:(. Not my fault i don't have a sky shell and the only one i joined broke (._.; ) but i do have AF! :D

This, even if the situations that i'd use relic+1 hat for enfeebles are so incredibly rare, that i don't even have a macro to equip my high macc mnd set. Except for silence/addle that is, but that's too much work.

Honestly, especially now at 85+, you should never be enfeebling in that. I personally use full mnd for everything, including wand+shield for everything now, with no exceptions.

Was in a pickup abyssea party, on war. Was an average party at first, not bad, but not really good either.


Then later i start using fell cleave. Liek a lot. A few deaths later, got it down well, and i started parsing 95%+ of the damage.

So rdm feet drop. I lot 98, and my immediate response is @#%^KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. Then someone lots 88. Then 42. I'm liek OMGGGGGG I WON. Also, a lot of people that wnated it didn't lot because they thought i deserved it. Then 4 mins later someone lots 600+, and i offer him 1m to pass, and he doesn't don't, thinking i won't pay him, and didn't have time to explain that i would have paid him first.

Everyone gets pissed at him. Not enough to do anything about it, but mad none the less.

20 mins later another dorps. I imeddiately open the chest, and take them. No one gets mad at me. Instead everyone gets mad at the guy who lotted the first one again (oh, did i mention he was perfectly within his right to lot them?).





Also, rdm merits are completely capped, just got my last int and mp merits.

Thankee sir, 3 mp/tick from gear is hawt. Well, it was before Atma of the Heavens and Refresh II, but still nice.

It still helps, but with all the refresh going around even outside Abyssea, I'd just wait for it to drop in an LS.

Accomplished my first real RDM solo's yesterday. Killed Zipacna and Faust without any trouble. not much of an accomplishment now that the level cap is raised as they were rediculously easy. But good practice for me as i build up to doing Genbu and some other Sky NM's. :) Wish i would have tried for these before the level cap for more RDM cred, but at the end of the day i'm just glad that i can do them.

Soloed Chasmic Hornet, no drop.

Was my first pinning solo ever, took a while to get the hang of deaggroing it (but maybe the fence I was using just sucked).

8/~40 from iktomi, and 0/~10 from the quest, and i now have my last af3+1. Only wasted ~500 mins.

Nearly 4 years of trying. I put a year into a LS just to have it break and the leader bail when I was next in line. I've purchased 4 pop sets to be merc'ed and no drop. I finally found a LS that would sell them outright for 5 mil, and I got them on their first try. Not even for a second do I regret paying that much for them.

amg, i got it 1/1 too! And i was also gimping it up! Out of 4 rdms, i parsed liek 5%, and came /blm so i could warp faster. Fun times.

was camping it all day on saturday after dynamis, then it dropped on my last one. omg, was so happy. lol

I guess I could still hold out hope that SE might give us some kind of Enhancing Mastery trait at 90 with a 50% duration boost or something. While I'd prefer my old tiered idea of 25/50/75/100% at 15/35/55/75, they missed that chance with the Composure/Enspell update. Refresh II's recast pisses me off, too. Seems almost double T1 and practically feels like I'm always looking to (re)cast it in an MP heavy group.
