Yeah, I'm anxious to find out what it will be for, too. The people in my Nyzul group got a good chuckle out of the fact that while these weapons are clearly designed to be sub-par for every job, Quicksilver is actually one of the best Hexaguns that COR can currently equip (only thing better is Hexagun +1).
You don't need to be an HNM slave to do Nyzul either, fortunately. Just find 5 friends who can show up at the same time once or twice a week and you're good to go (or do what we did and get 7 people in case 1 person can't show up to a run due to RL conflicts).

Got my Novio earring and Uggalepih pendant this week. Just missing Denali kecks and corsair's gun +1 and potentially twelve more agility before I'm done with quick draw setup.
I got aa cor test to fight my genka lost the first time by 1 shot stupid wild card andforgot my wing and blink band lol. 2nd fight sleeped to long and timed out 1 hit left @#@$%#@#$ going to try again today.
Hit level 66. Achieved Corporal rank and purchased my Shark Gun. I think I'm going to wait until 70 to do G5.

I quit FFXI a couple months ago but I'll share :P
Not long before I quit I was 74 corsair, in a party with: BRD DRK DRK WAR COR(me) NIN, with an outside healer.
I decided to go ahead and eat curry instead of sushi, because I had double minuet and chaos roll on myself and I wanted to see what I could push out.
average of 1,500 dmg slug shots, with my best going over 1900. over 50% of a mob's HP taken in one shot, was very satisfying.

I already play BRD at events and in meripo, so I know I love support jobs, but I'm looking for a new challenge. I do a ton of Nyzul Isle with a static, and seeing all that Denali on my static members, plus Quicksilver, really was the final push.
I'm sure I'll be back here regularly to ask questions. :)

Congrats! Stupid Nyzul weapons, making people level the job after getting the item.. Fail SE =/ Such a contrast to the endless relic weapons people get and /toss in Dyna. Maybe they didn't like that..

It's quite fun XD (not for solo, well, maybe a little XD, also for social LS stuff...

Maybe a slightly different achievment, since I was part of an alliance, but I was co-buffing the main Black Mage party with my Bard friend versus Ouryu.
After we'd actually got all the way to monarch linn, only to find out we'd missed the BCNM entrance, we eventually ended up going in on Earthsday...
...which didn't make the fight very easy. but we did it, and it's the first event I've been to with Corsair where I felt like I was making a difference. I've done some Dynamis runs on COR, but I think I did pretty well, and so I consider it an achievement.
