I am hoping I can find people in the community who can answer a few questions for me.
I am looking to go with ATI Eye-infintiy setup. (3) Monitors. All same brand/model.

The total resolution is 5760x3240. My question are these:

Will my current system run this on High settings?

Anyone currently using the 5850 and crossfire with the eyeinfinfity setup?
Is my current PSU enough to handle all this?

What??!! Your vertical will still be 1080--that's gonna be really funky if you are going to try stretching the game that wide (5760 X 1080). Aspect ratio is gonna probly be way off. And it will be a big strain on the system, and that game can really stress things out just running it at 1920/1080 for some people.

That PSU probly won't cut it for Xfire--at least not for FF14. It should be fine for one card, but not two. When I was in beta stage with my 4850 and a C2D I was pulling down 360 watts in game versus just under 200 watts when idle--and those 5850's have a much bigger power draw. Without overclocking anything, you will need at least 600-650 watts of raw power from the PSU--and that's if you don't have any extras going on like something stronger than stock cooling.

Note that is GUARANTEED power (as in an 80+ certified with a rating of 850 watts guarantees 680 watts (850 X 80%). If you are going to be running extra fans, USB devices, overclocking anything, or playing MP3's or something in the background as well--you're gonna want something more along the lines of an 80+ closer to the 1000 watt range to be safe with 2 of them going.

Ok, To clarify for everyone so I can get more accurate results I am going to post links to all the equipment I am talking about. My questions are:

1) Will this equipment run FFXIV in high setting with Eyefinity

2) Will running (2) 5850 crossfire be worth the cost of another card for eyefinity.

3) What resolution would I be running in Eyefinity?

4) Is there a better display port to get for better resolution anyone can recommend

Should help with the PSU question.

3. The resolution you listed would require 9 monitors in a 3x3 square. With 3 monitors side by side, you only triple the horizontal resolution, because they're not magically 3 times taller, right?

a 650 watt psu won't be adequate to run a crossfire array. That large a screen sample and you will need a crossfire array to get a decent framerate.
