FPS Limiting Issue (ASUS G73JH-X1)Follow

I have an ASUS G73JH-X1 Republic of Gamers notebook, and am having a weird FPS issue. The FPS are actually capping off at a percentage of max for some odd reason. Examples: (MINE/CAP) FFXI on any setting 25.7/30, FFXIV on any setting 50/60 (yes, even with lowest settings, facing a wall, 50fps max), WoW on any setting 125/200+ among other games. I've tried all available drivers for the 5870m but the issue persists. Any ideas? Maybe another system driver causing the issue? Thanks!

Its just different game engines. The FFXIV engine doesn't run all that fast to be honest, even on high end gear. Wow runs much faster overall. Its likely not anything wrong with your system at all. Though i would expect you to get faster framerate as the game matures and they fix some of their graphics issues.

Honestly it isn't FFXIV or WoW that I'm concerned about, its FFXI. Even my 1.6Ghz atom netbook runs it at 30fps in my moghouse, yet this beast won't no matter the settings.
