Laptop Crash (FFXI) :: EverQuest

So... my laptop crashed this morning. I woke up to "Operating system not found." I have a new laptop now and the POL/Tetra Master for Windows 7. Is there a place where I can download FFXI, any live torrents? If someone sends me some FFXI files can I run a massive file check? Someone help me please!

If you have some Windows Installation media, see if you can boot from the CD/DVD and get into Recovery Console to run a full chkdsk. Hopefully it's just some file system corruption that it can repair and find the bootstrap files again. Some info/links on using chkdsk across different platforms/methods:

Disabling Windower plugins
Disabling non-essential background processes/services
Running PoL+FFXI file checks
Registry checks
Lower FFXI settings
Next step would be to reinstall but I'm trying to avoid that. It takes about 6 minutes to kick off my char when this happens(probably because I'm between zones when it happens)
Try reinstalling Vid Drivers.
