New To Endgame DragoonFollow

Hello Everyone.

I have been browsing the forum and have got a lot of good information.

I had recently returned to the game and decided to make Dragoon my main job. I have just got up to level 80. I currently have a Perle Set and other gear that I am happy with for stats.

My question is what Polearm to go after. I dont play for a long time each week. maybe an hour or 2 a few times during the week, and then a fair bit on the weekend. But that is hit or miss.

So I am able to start Magian trials now but want to know what are the ones i should focus on trying to obtain? Relic or Mytic seem like a pain to obtain so it is probably out. Empy seems ok to get but I doubt I will ever get it to the end level.

Just opinions on what are the best polearms to go after would be appriciated. I just cant seem to find a good and relevant answer (most posts seem to be from awhile ago, and I am unsure if anything has changed)

I'm going to agree with Cid on this one. I did the sTP Stingray (now Sixgill) and love it. I know there are better options, but if you don't have large amounts of play time and a group to back you up it's a nice and easy polearm to work toward. The ease of a 5-hit capped haste build is one of the major bonuses for me, with DA on jumps you can WS repeatedly in a very short period of time and then just Super Jump the hate away.

As far as the trials go it's a series of easy low level NMs and then x WSs against a certain mob. The only one that was remotely challenging was Hounds, and the only reason that was challenging was because I did it in abyssea where they tend to clump together and blood aggro is a bitch. The stages do take time but they can all be soloed without any serious difficulty.
