Hey guys. I have picked up my hunter after having it parked at around 51 for a year or two. I have gotten to 71 and have been questing/dungeoning as MM. I am wondering if this is the best choice for dungeons as I have heard SV is great for aoe. I know it really doesn't matter much either way, but I'm just curious if one is a clear favorite in dungeons while leveling? Thanks.

It really doesn't matter what spec you use when leveling. I have been flipping between SV and BM for fun while leveling my Hunter (81 now) and have been focusing more on having fun. SV does have great aoe damage with Serpent Spread and Noxious Stings.
With the vast majority of alts running around in heirloom gear, mobs do not last long at all. It might be a little easier in dungeons if you can maximize your aoe damage as I have found it difficult to get into a rotation when the mob dies in less than 15 seconds.

If you picked up Bombardment in the MM tree to get some lower cost multi shots then you are also fine. Most things in lower level dungeons aren't alive long enough for it to really matter.
