I am going to solo heal Saurfang.

This is not an accomplishment... yet. When my 10-man gets to Saurfang, I am going to talk the rl into letting the other healer go dps. I saw it done and was simply amazed at the ease of it. With the extra dps, no mark ever came out.

The only problem I see is if we are:
  • breaking in a new healer
  • or
  • light on range

  • Both healers that I normally run with have barbaric melee offspecs, so I hope we have at least three ranged this week.

This may be more of a Priest: Goals post, but I am bored and dreaming of large women.[poll]

I've done that. You might need to let the mark die if it pops, but healing everything else is **** easy. Just keep your fade button ready and stand wherever you want to stand.

    Yay 80!

This is actually a first for me, even if I've been 70 a few times before.

Took long enough, too. Moz and Aeth are of course also 80 on their non-priest characters (Moz has been for a few days), Heroics are easy, and I want to raid again.

Also. 15 emblems till I get my 2 piece Tier 9! I've got the robe (since I have pretty good shoulders already), gloves next, I guess.

    The Macbook is sexy.
It's pretty and smooth and white.

And why do people dislike macs?

Also, because of that one video I can't find atm.

    "Hi! I'm a mac."
    "Hi, I'm a PC."
    "What are you doing?"
    "Oh, just playing games."
    "Which ones?"
    "You know, all of 'em"

Mac plays WoW, do any other games matter?
    #211 Mar 26 2010 at 7:55 PM Rating: Good
Macs remind me of the exact reason why I refused to have any proper GUI on my computer for a few months. Which is KDE, and I hate KDE. The OSX GUI is at least based on KDE, and that is awful. Seriously, I personally find it less intuitive than running everything with a command-line interface. Not that I like that, either.

That being said, I've taken digital art classes in college before. I have used a Mac. My brother also has a Macbook which I use sometimes when I'm at his place. I still don't like the GUI.

Those things also don't run translating software, and while I hate translating software because it enables lazy translators, I am still trying to get an agency to employ me, so it's a factor.

Also, I seriously hate my PC, I want my old PC back, or my housemate to give me that old RAM he had flying around. Or something. And why doesn't WoW run in Linux? I think now that this PC is mine and I can do with it as I please, WoW is really the main reason that I'm not getting myself into that again.

    Okay, lots of things.

So over the last two days, I finally got past 5000 GearScore (yes, I know), pretty much solo-healed Ignis (yeeees, I know), did ToC10 for the first time and it went well (because our guild is awesome), did ToC25 but failed to kill Anub because the raid fell apart after we wiped, got some loot, did a lot of PvP, and got lots of random achievements apart from that.

And our guild is really coming along nicely. :D

Grats to Kali and the Euro priest peeps guild!

I finally got my Relentless robe for my priest, the "accomplishment" there being doing all those battlegrounds without carving my own eyes out with a pumpkin-knife, since I got all those arena points without a single arena match. Also it looks pretty.

Next come the gloves and the newest level of trinket, but I've mostly been focusing on getting the alts lined up; I'd like to get them all leveled or at least in the 75-78 range before Cata so they can be my priest's "underlings, evil spirits, secretaries of secretaries, and other assorted minions."

(Bonus points to whoever names the quote first.)

Lich King down on 10 man :P We got the first few bosses on heroic as well. Marrowgar is tough to heal on hero for those who haven't done it.

We're progressing nicely on Sindragosa in our 25 man raids, I imagine we'll be working on Lich King 25 this week as well.

According to guildox, I'm the fifth best geared priest on alliance on my server. I find this kind of funny, but cool as well. If I ever get a new weapon or that damned trinket that STILL hasn't dropped for me, I'll be over 6k gearscore. :)

Oh...and they asked me to be an officer of our guild. ./gulp

Jeffrey Goines speech in the mental institution (12 monkeys). Perhaps appropriate for these forums.

    YOU DON'T SAY!

I'm surprised to hear you even got him down? Marrowgar on heroic, I've found, is ridiculously overtuned. Lady Deathwhisper is doable, Gunship is **** easy, Saurfang is somewhat hard but doable (specially if you have 2 or 3 pallies who can use HoP to prevent Saurfang from getting power from his Blood-debuff), Rotface is fairly easy and so is Festergut. Marrowgar is harder then all of them together. Seriously, **** all is going on. Then you hit bonestorm and everybody's being hit for 40% of their hit points every second. It's not even funny - even with four healers we've wiped on him.

That said, my guild downed heroic Lana'thel today, which was apperantly pretty easy as well. Putricide's got a reputation for being horrible so I don't expect him to go down soon, but I'm thinking we can start looking into Blood Elf Council and Valithria now...

Didn't you already down Putricide on 25man heroic, Moz?

We did it with 3 healers, a pally, myself and a droodad. We were doing the "everyone stand w/ the rogues" strategy we used in normal in order to avoid the fires. We found that we had to have everyone scatter 5 seconds before Bonestorm started in order to avoid some of that damage.

We tried to control who he was chasing in the Bonestorm phase on the theory that he always goes for the person farthest away from him in the room. It "sorta" worked, but wasn't quite as controllable as we had hoped.

Our healer core is quite uber. I'm no slouch, and I'm usually 2nd or 3rd on the meters in our 25 mans behind the very same healers that were in this 10 man w/ me. That and we had some incredible dps as well.

In general, Moz...I would agree with you. He's too hard for the first boss in the instance imo.

Your knowledge of Terry Gilliam films trumps your dwarvishness. I will give you grief for being Alliance no more.

Yeah, it was a fairly smooth run considering that about half of us had never done some of the bosses and we were suffering some lag that made it harder.
Assuming we get Monday's raid running I want to see Blood Princes and Putricide die too, and else we'll get them (And Blood Queen) next week.
Maybe I'll even set the goal at 11/12 next week and 12/12 after that (Go hardmodes GO!)

Was healing Stocks on my lowbie priest, our paladin "tank" was wearing a cloth chest, mostly leather and was using a two-handed mace. We only wiped once and that was because we didn't clear the rooms besides Dextrin Ward and the dps got feared into both of them.

Hi, I'm new to the Alla forums and I have a priest.

Today I threw together a ICC10 run at the last minute. I 2 healed the first wing and Festerslut and Punchface with a Tree. Was pretty cool. Would of had Puti but a mage DC'd and we wiped. Would of won if he didn't DC.
