Bored Druid ThreadFollow

I got bored of near - one - shot mechanics during Wrath, so Inferno never interested me. You either kill the mobs before they get to you, or you die. That doesn't sound appealing to me. The only class I've seen tank inferno damage was a DH, through insane amounts of life steal, insane amounts of damage, and no health, because there's no point to health when your doing inferno, unless your a Barb, but then your fecked, because you don't have enough damage to outlast the mobs that are beating on you. Of course, having not played inferno, and only watched videos of people doing it/reading forum posts about it, I'm probably not qualified to talk about it. However, the silver lining of D3 is that Torchlight 2 should get more sales, which means a higher chance of Torchlight 3.

I've been on an electronic kick recently, which makes me want to punch myself in the face. I need to start listening to metal again. Luckily, I pretty much always want to listen to Bloodbath, so that's good.

Don't know who Türmion Kätilot are, but I'm going to assume they're Industrial Metal, since that's what Ministry are. I'm not really a fan of Industrial Metal, with the exception of Rammstein, but even then, I've pretty much stopped listening to them since Liebe Ist Für Alle Da came out.

I like the speed and intensity. It reminds me of old Rammstein. Also, WTF indeed. It's a fairly messed up video.

I think it's safe to say my electronic kick is over. I've listened to this song 38 times today. Taking the total to over 400. And that's only since January when I built my computer. Black Dahlia Murder is probably my favourite band of all time. Dual vocals coming out of one person, intense double bass, and aggressive guitar riffs makes for an awesome combination.

LOLOLOL Melee mage in D3. Epic DPS but you can't see sh*t on the screen anymore. Also so insanely spammy it's an RSI lawsuit waiting to happen...
And this just dropped for me.

I didn't start going melee until level 50, at 50 you get Critical Mass which makes this work. My crit is still too low (14%) to make it work smooth but I'm still spamming nova and mirror skin a lot. Saw a video on youtube of someone destroying inferno Belial with this build, 68k dps, 47% chance to crit, some 350+% crit damage.

You know how when you're fighting small Belial he'll summon adds? That didn't happen in that guys video because of the insane dps.

Depends on the mob and how many mobs, but pretty high. Between nova and mirror skin I probably don't get any damage from mobs 80% of the time and that'll only get better with more crit.
Also, my lvl 51 wizard is at 5.8k dps level 52 and at 6.8k dps now so it's not like fights last long anyway.

Edit: Also Protein, what's stopping you? Leveling up to 50 isn't very hard and with how high wizard dps is you can rock from checkpoint to checkpoint in minutes.

Except my decently geared monk is only doing about 23k dps. She can pretty much tank anything except fire chains/arcane up to act 2 inferno though, act 3 I have to run the @#%^ away from desecrator, plagued and molten too. Kinda stuck at Ghom now sadly, Ghom is a bitch. And from what I've read, harder than inferno Diablo... >.>

Well I did find a Screaming Chain as well yesterday. One with kinda meh int and vit but 59 all resist so that will sell for a couple million. And I've found a lower level legendary ring before that sold for a few million even though the stats sucked.

I'm still way better at spending gold than I am at making it though.

Apparently they've buffed drops a bit lately? I haven't had time to play for a couple weeks now :(
