Local quests Rank 10 (was game=268)Follow

Hi,

I have a question about Rank 10 local quests. My armorer is lvl 13 and i don't have any trouble making items around that level. But somehow when i do the Rank 10 local quests, they fail most of the time. I don't understand this. Is there a secret difficulty or am i the only one who have this problem? I's very frustrating.

Some of the Rank 10 leves require "larger working conditions" meaning they want you to get synthesis support.
In order to do this you must either goto the guild and pay to "use the facilities" or goto the nearest Aerth Crystal and "use the camp facilities."

See if that text pops up in purple in your log before you synth. It will say "this recipe requires larger working conditions" Also when you confirm recipe it will say what level of support you need. The different levels are only offered at the crafting guild. Camp crystal facility support only offers 1 level. I assume its equal to the level 1 support from the guild but cost as much as the level 2 support from the guild.

Hopefully this is your only issue.

Also might be time to invest in crafting gear and/or new crafting tools.

Thanks for your answer, but i allready noticed the "larger working conditions" stuff. And that is not the problem.

Perhaps you right about this. I am still using starter craft tools. I will look into the recipes voor good crafting gear and tools or perhaps you know some good gear for crafting?

As a rank 13 armorer, you should have at least a bronze doming hammer (rank 7) and optimally a bronze raising hammer (rank 12). Best body armor is a frayed cotton doublet vest but that might be hard to get: a hempen doublet would be a good substitute. Head would be either cotton coif or cotton scarf. Hands would be smithy's gloves. Legs would be hempen slops. Feet, weathered thighboots; they're only +1 mag. craft, but there's nothing better. Waist, anything other than the weathered satchel belt.

Thanks a lot. Most of them i can make by myself, so that's a good thing.

Fingerless Sheepskin Gloves: output +3 control +3
Sheepskin Workboots: Output +2
Hempen Doublet: Craftmanship +5, Mag. Craftmanship +1
Hempen Slops: Craftmanship +3
Hempen Turban: Mag. Craftmanship +3

Some stats are output en control. Are these usefull stats for crafting?

Control is thought to get you better crystal status during synthesis. Output I'm not sure about; I think that may be a stat for gathering.

Output IS a gathering stat.

Craftsmanship, Magic Craftsmanship and Control. Those are your crafting stats.

Hmm strange, because i mentioned Armorer as example they moved this topic to the armorer forum.

Anyway, i have now made the clothes i mentioned above + some bronze tools. And i have to say, it makes a hugh difference. I didn't expect this good.

So, again, thanks for the advice!

Control is also a craft stat? Then making a Fingerless Sheepskin Gloves was a good choice :-)
