Hi there!
I started playing FFXIV when it first came out and have been playing it on and off since then. I decided to turn it back on today and looked at my abilities for my Conjurer and they have all changed. I no longer have any elemental abilities apart from Aero. I was just wondering if this was a recent change and if anyone else is disappointed by this change?

Changes dated back in 1.20 and you're late to the disappointed party.
I personally think once you get used to it, it's a change for the better. In simplifying this SE have at least made the job usable. Before THM was nuker/healer and everything and CON well, not much use, now with WHM etc it is back in the spot of premo healer. If you want to nuke then THM/BLM is the route to go. I was disappointed that SE just did away with the DoT spells and debuffs (although you do get some with combo's etc).

Personally I dont like it very much, BLM Ice spells should become a new set of combo focus on debuffing/special effect and WHM should get Water spells combo. All DoW have at least 3 combos and if you also count branching as different combo, then they have 4, while DoM only get 2.
