Well i know leveling is not very interesting to most however after having to deal with a few to may Glads that don't meet the minimum requirements to even tank I'll quickly type out what the bare minimum, average and optimal jobs are needed to tank. I know player skill plays a role, so this is based more from a general perspective of skills needed more so then what one can do. Some may need these to be good some may not and still outperform... any who to begin. (skills listed are skills you must to have access to, )
Minimum: (First step is not easy)
GLD 50 <> Shield 50 (Self-Preservation guild mark skill)
ARC 22: Quick stride
MRD 20: Defender, Disorient, Bloodbath, Foresight, (Intimidation: guild mark skill)
PUG 20: Second wind, Taunt (Prime Conditioning: guild mark skill)
LNC 14: Invigorate
CNJ 20: Cure 2,
THM 20: Sacrifice 2, MP drain
Average: (Now you can pull the wagon)
GLD 50 <> Shield 50 (Self-Preservation guild mark skill)
ARC 22: Quick stride
MRD 50: Defender 2, Disorient 2, Bloodbath 2, Foresight 2, Warmonger, (Intimidation & Axemanship: guild mark skill)
PUG 36: Second wind 2, Accomplice, Taunt (Prime Conditioning: guild mark skill)
LNC 14: Invigorate
CNJ 20: Cure 2, (Fast Cast: guild mark skill)
THM 20: Sacrifice 2, MP drain, (Fast Cast: Firm Conviction)
Optimal: (Now you have no excuse)

PUG 50: All skills and Guild mark skills
