They should have a DOOM with less violence and call it MILD INCONVENIENCE or something.

I'd really like to get into the EA NFL games, but there's far too much football.

Prevailing theory is that it's McIntosh on both accounts right now. Because he's a stable, stable man.

Also, Horizon Zero Dawn looks freaking badass. Deus Ex looks pretty cool. Several other games have me a little hyped. But mostly I'd still knife any one of you right now for a copy of the new Mass Effect. Not fatally or anything. But you know.

I can't take Horizon seriously because there was an MMORPG called Horizons that spent forever in development with people moaning about how awesome it was going to be ("You can play a dragon!"). Then it came out, predictably sucked, went through a name change and is now called Istaria. And apparently still exists and their big claim is that they have a crafting system.

Anyway, hearing people get excited for this Horizon game makes me remember that.

That's alright. It might just be for console peasants, so you might not be interested anyway. Also, South Park was the other game I was really hyped for that I couldn't remember on account of Ghostriders in the Sky being stuck in my head.

That does look fun. Add another franchise to the list of stuff I need to catch up on someday.

I really like the LEGO games, but I don't like the "Toy DLC" stuff like Disney Infinity, Skylanders, now Lego Dimensions.

I liked how Sony did the Disney Infinity thing, and the guy was trying to hype it up, the audience didn't seem nearly as enthused as the guy was making it out to be.

I am not adverse to DLC in general. But for these games, the physical items mean the DLC is limited quantity, sometimes difficult to find. Now, it's not Nintendo, so I'm sure it's not as bad as the amibo ****, but... I can't say I support it.

If they moved it to Steam, and made all the toys just straight DLC, it might be better. But it is still a perversion of the usual LEGO game unlockables to the extreme, even when compared to the last few big LEGO games that have had 1 or 2 extra character pack DLCs.
