Valkyria Chronicles getting PC port. Here's hoping that means there'll also be ports for VC 2 and 3. /squee

I just remember the one mission near the beginning that was pretty much pure luck. Had to replay that damn mission three or four times just so the AI wouldn't win on the first turn.

I never finished it for PS3. Maybe I'll give it a try.

I literally never had that problem, and I've played through the game a good five times.

You sure you didn't just suck? Smiley: wink

Maybe I'm thinking of a different game. It's a mission where the AI just needs to get one of their characters to a point on the map, and they have one set within walking distance of it. It's been a long while, admittedly.

It's probably the right game. I think Allegory complained about that too. I just think there's a way to prevent it that may or may not be counterintuitive that I figured out on the first try.

I never played the game, but watched a friend play. There was a mission where I believe where one of the failure conditions was for the computer to take an objective, and it could do so by turn 2 if it wanted to without you seemingly having the ability to stop it.

I did a quick search and was unable to find the particular mission, I'll do a little more because I' am a bit curious about it.

I liked the concept of the gameplay, in that it reminded me somewhat of what Legend of Dragoon (and to an extent Magna Carta) attempted to do by making the RPG more active and involved.

I didn't see this thread on it, but I posted this in the Omni topic.

You can grab the prepurchase at GMG for 28% off. (10% off plus additional 20% off using SPOOKY-TREATS-GMG20X)

That's a rather good deal, but since I have it for PS3, I'll hope it shows up even cheaper later. I'm mostly hoping for 2-3 also coming out.

I feel like I should warn you that Largo's ability to hit something is inversely proportional to just how important it is that he hit something. The vegetable perk helps, but doesn't absolutely mitigate this fact.

Sounds a lot like X:Com. 75% chance to hit often feels like 75% chance to miss. Hah, the bad part is I am digging this and I am happy I bought it to support the idea of more PC ports. But now DA:I is looming. Also FC4 is coming out. An embarrassment of gaming riches! I love the holidays.

Think of it as an excuse to wait til one of them(FC4, IMO) is a little cheaper(or on some good sale). And buy a used copy to show Ubisoft that you're annoyed with their crap.
