I didn't see a thread on the first page. Has anyone bought and played this game? I resisted for a long time but over the weekend at I was at our local MicroCenter and always take a quick look through the software while I'm there. Found the game for 13 bucks, so I bought it. Only played a couple of hours, but even so I feel I've gotten 13 bucks worth out of it.

And no, not playing it, I heard it was not all that great and plus since Spec Ops, FPS games actually make my stomach churn.

I guess it's FPS, but my playing was in 3rd person, more like Mass Effect than CoD. For 13 bucks, how good does it need to be? It's not Colonial Marines bad or anything like that. Just thought that if anybody was playing, they might wanna play together.

I got it on Steam summer sale for around the same price. Almost forgot I had it. Trying to catch up on my backlog of single player first though before I jump in. I could possibly change my mind by this weekend. :)

Yea, it's 3rd person view, should have written FPS/3rdPS (I guess). Basically any run and gun, just haven't had the incentive to play them.
Defiance used to be a $60 Triple-A that was associated with the TV show of the same name. However, like I said, it was seen as pretty generic. If you're having fun with it, that's the point, and forget any reviews. As far as I know, the way it works is that the show does something, and that week the missions in the game reflect the show's something. I don't know if that's even still a thing. It did get picked up for a season 2, though.
