I believe M$ paid Spike to only cover M$ and EA conferences.

Gamespot, Twitch, and IGN all have streams up.

That would explain the lack of anything on Spike. But G4 is nothing but Xplay reruns, Cops, and Quantum Leap for the next few days.

Hmm, so there is no TV coverage of E3 this year except MS/EA for a couple hours earlier today on SpikeTV. For some reason G4 stepped out of the business... and apparently EA/MS only = E3 All Access Live.

Any programs I can setup on my computer to record live streams while I'm at work for my advertisement free viewing pleasure later?

This site http://www.e3countdown.com/ keeps track of all the conferences. They record and save them to be watched later, commercial free.

I considered G4 dead ever since Sessler was fired.

Why is every live stream I've seen so far, and still watching, all 100% Xbox? Where is the Sony information? And why is Ross's girlfriend from Barbados the host?

The rumors are that Microsoft paid publishers/developers to keep quiet about PS4, even if their game supports it. So unless they say "xbox exclusive", you can probably assume otherwise.

Sony's conference is later tonight.

So far nothing MS has put out there has convinced me even consider an Xbone purchase. Giving away some free games with Gold Live membership is nice, but it would be better if the games weren't ones that have been out for years. The only game I've seen so far that interests me is Dragon Age 3 and I'll be able to play that on PC. I might give Mirror's Edge 2 a look, but only if I ever get around to playing the original.

Well, I thought I could fire up one of my consoles and watch it on my TV through that. PS3 won't play the stream, 360 has IE behind the Gold paywall. Not sure if I should try my Wii or not...

I don't have a mini-HDMI so I can't get my PC out to my TV...

Edit:
That Darkwinter Tom Clancy's Division (or, pretty sure that's still the MMO thingy) definitely looks pretty.

You can buy an adapter for that for less than ten bucks.

Ya, but I can't pull one out of my dresser drawer by putting a ten spot on my desk.

Edit:
Uhoh, that person just said the game was coming out on the PS4 as well as the Xbone. Someone's getting yelled at back stage.

Oh, I don't know how many it affects, but I guess the Xbone will cost $599 in Australia (didn't see it mentioned).

EDIT: I'm from the US

I do not love the new art direction for the DA series. I do not love it at all. I hope it'll grow on me.

Also, I'm really bummed that they seem to have changed Morrigan's voice actress. Though, I guess the fact that this is taking place 15? years after DAO justifies her having a deeper voice. It could just be the same actress using a new inflection. You were never told Morrigan's age, but Alistair was about 20 in DAO, so it seems fair for Morrigan to be around the same at the time.

That said... Open world DA? And your choices will actively change the game environment? Hells to the f***ing yes.

Don't ***** me this time, BioWare...

They didn't change Morrigan's voice actress, it's still Claudia Black.

Ewww did they really say $499 For the Xbox.... Sony can head shot MS with a $399 Price tag.

Actually who is in charge of this **** storm of a release.

Requires Broadband connection once a day...according to US Internet Usage they just cut 120 Million people from the largest consumer market.
Most Features not available outside of US...what the **** is the point of getting one if you can't use the features, love rest of the Worlds consumer market.

So ya....the ****?

Yeah, I can hear it now that I'm watching a better quality trailer. I was watching it on a recorded livestream, and it was pretty rough. Didn't sound like her at all there.

Also, as someone just pointed out to me, regarding that crazy part of the trailer where the sky appears to rip open and meteors fall... "One day the magic will come back. All of it. Everyone will be just like they were. The shadows will part, and the skies will open wide. When he rises, everyone will see."

[EDIT]

I feel like, if they can pull the open-world style off, the game will be awesome. The DA lore is at a really great place for an open-world stab at things. You have many fleshed-out factions, and many approaches to the core concept of a war between Mages and Templars.

The Chantry has fragmented into factions, with the Templars no longer heeding the Revered Mother, and the Seekers being her branch of the Chantry (focused on trying to end the war, period, and more often targeting the Templars than Mages).

Mages have always been factional, but now there's no safe, solid ground for any of them to stand on. So that adds a lot of chaos to the fight. This isn't just a war between Templars and Mages, it's a war between many factions of Mages versus factions of Templars in independently spawning rebellions.

Add in the Qunari threat, the additional nations they've been working to really flesh out in the EU stuff, the new Orlesian Empress novel coming out, the changing state of Elves that has been brewing since DAO, quite a bit of new Dwarven stuff, red lyrium, etc.

There's a LOT they can work with. They just need to be willing to really go all the way with it, imo.

Ok, I found my Mini HDMI to HDMI adapter, and got it displayed on my TV. But I can't get sound out to my TV yet. According to the interwebs, the Geforce 580 has sound pass thru, but I must not have a setting or driver correctly set.
