Looking for a name of a game...Follow

Someone has to know it, it was semi-popular between all my friends back in the day and it seems to have be installed on comps from back in the day...

Back in the day as in 1995-97.

Fighting game, little squishy plush looking "pets" that changed into larger robot versions of themselves.

Battle Pets? (only gives WoW stuff when googled)

yup...
thanks.

I remember once playing a game in the mid 1990's. I'm not sure if it was DOS or Commodore 64. It was a very simple game designed for kids that involved some kind of gnome character with a butterfly net traveling to the top of a mountain for some reason I cannot quite remember. What I recall most clearly is that it played "The Hall of the Mountain King" in the background at some point.

I've been searching on the internet for a while and cannot find even the slightest trace of it. I'd know it if I could just see a screenshot. A lot of the google images come up with this other game that is unrelated that looks like it belongs on the old Atari. The game I'm thinking about is old, but also has colorful cartoon-ish graphics.
