YES, EQOA is a spectacular game, Sony should definently invest in the next portion of the saga of EQOA and make one for the PS3, as it stands now, there are no real MMOs that are not shooters on the PS3. That is untill FFXIV comes out later this year, I will play it, but i am on the fence as to whether or not i will like it after being such an EQ fanatic.
Nothing would of made me happier then to see EQOA have had another expansion, but instead we are at the point of having the opposite, there isn't even dev support anymore, hell, the last dev update was over a year ago. with the revived popularity of MMOs, i think EQ on PS3 would be a huge hit, and i would be all over it.

Wow, a lot of old faces/names I haven't seen in a while! Good to see that people still come back and check in every once in a while..Crazycrush damn it's been forever! You too Penguin! And the rest of you that whose names I actually still remember from way back when hahah...
But anyways, yes EQOA really is an epic memory from my life time and I must admit that I don't regret those countless hours that I spent playing this ridiculous game haha. I don't care, it was great..and although I haven't played it again in a very long time and it's slowly starting to die out..I do plan on starting up again sometime in the near future with some old friends just for the sake of doing it and enjoying great memories.
In which case, I must ask of those of you that are still playing, is there still an active server with at least some sort of amount of active players on it and if so which is it? It'd be great to actually see some people online next time I start the game up again, cuz I remember last time I was quite alone. Also, is there still that 4x Boon u can use? Would make xping greatly easier hahah.

Just reactivated account last night... I must say it has been almost 3 yrs since I have been on. I see talk about a 4x!!!! xp boots eh? Can anyone let me know who gives quest and how to get through it pretty quickly? Also can I solo it all?
Im lv 60 necro.

It's not a quest, in every starting town there is a signpost named "_____ Announcements" with the space being the name of the town. You "talk" to it and give it 1000 tunar and it gives you a no rent(that means if you log off before using it it's gone) "pot" that you use to apply the xp boost buff, I've heard that it lasts anywhere from 24-48 hours but never actually timed it. The most popular one is obviously in freeport and it's right next to the well outside the coach.

Maybe in raids, which I haven't been apart of more then a few in the past few years, but there's still many 60s grinding cms, even if they are all at damn boring insta spawn camps...I miss EG and those skeleton south of highpass.

I have been dying to come back to this game. But with a kid on the way, my baby momma won't let me spend the money on it.
