Has any group of level one's tried taking down a dragon?

Are there any 'reachable' dragons at level one to try this?

I am curious how many it would take to bring one down....

I'd be very surprised if no one has tried it. Level 1 Gnome Raids were a big thing for a while. As far as "reachable"? There's a level 50 elite dragon in the Wetlands that should be fairly easy for an Alliance group to get to, if he's where I think he is.

Level 1 gnomes are best used for naked gnome races.

Yeah on the level 1 raids - seems like was usually Hogger (at least the ones I remember). You can find half a bazzilion videos on youtube.

I'm not sure a level 1 character could land anything on a level 50 dragon (or is there a small base chance for things to land regardless of level spread.. I forget!).

Here's some old information on common level 1 twink fights. Apparently a level 70 Doomguard was considered a 40 man raid, so I'm sure a level 50 dragon would be doable.
