Winter break has drawn to a close and the new semester starts Monday. Spring is on the way! So, anyone have any tales? Smiley: sly

WoW: I hit paydirt! Sometimes being an altoholic does pay off, with the new patch I find myself suddenly able to take care of some of the weak spots in my pet battle teams -- and for the first few weeks of the semester I suspect that followers and pets are going to be about all I have time for.

RL: We're still in the wrap up from Spring Festival, so many small businesses are still closed. Fortunately, the big wholesale market up the street was open, so I was able to stock up on cat food and various groceries. Hey! They rolled up the sidewalks for the holiday, that's what passes for excitement out here!

See, as boring as your weekend was, you have to be able to top mine! Let's hear how yours went. Smiley: nod

By the way ... is my Theremore tabard really white and gold?

Gaming:
I'm playing one of your typical browser MMO games at the moment. P2W and all of that. I play free so I probably won't get too far but at least for now it is fun. A mix of base building, RPG and tower defence. All genres which I like.

Other:
Watched Smokin Aces. It was okay, could be a great action flick but some annoying characters and scenes bring it down a bit. Watched Contact which was good.

Did some cleaning in my apartment.

Texted a lot with a girl and now we have a date on Tuesday. We'll go watch Birdman, so even if we don't get along too well, at least the movie will be good.

Went to the gym.

RL - it was a cold and drizzly weekend so not much was accomplished. Cleaned the house a little, watched a few movies, took care of animals, and napped mostly.

Gaming - Finally have my hunter up to LFR standards and out of 3 raids think I got 2 or 3 pieces of gear, was kind of disappointing. Revamped my garrison and now have a barn so the fur for my tailoring is nice! Doing old raids so I can make gold for buying random battle pets and mounts and tailoring supplies. Went back to working on my monk with my wife, went from 41 to 47 last night with a ton of horrible pvp mixed in. Think the horde won 1 battle of like the 15 I participated in ....

Twas a boring weekend, and I'm ok with it

I survived the week, it's time to relax! Here's hoping that things are going well for everyone.

WoW: I finally got Syd and Moon Moon, hardly an extreme rarity, but I'm in a mood to enjoy minor successes. I'm going to wrap up DMF and indulge in being an altoholic with shiny new pets and heirlooms.

RL: It was a week of pure chaos. Consider the semester's start as being like an expansion's release date and this one would have been D3, except with things like discovering that we have the wrong text book, unannounced class changes, Internet being down until the tech guy returns from Spring Festival next week, and an endless stream of other minor annoyances. It was like being nibbled to death by angry ducks. We all have weeks like that, but that doesn't make them less aggravating. Smiley: lol

May the RNG smile on you! Let's hear some plans!

It looks like it has reached the point that I'm no longer able to keep the weekend thread running. I find myself no posting to avoid just chain posting, I'm not that amusing.

It has been a pleasure hearing everyone's tales. Others before me put a lot of work into this, my thanks to them. I hope that someone will be able to pick this up and keep it going, it has had a long run here.

May the RNG always smile on you, or at least bedevil others even more than you!

Be well.

IRL: watched Ernest Goes to Camp.

WoW: stopped Mythic raiding, raiding weekends with a mix of former mythic raiders and friends and family types. Goal for this weekend is Iron Maidens HM down. Also I had dipped down to 80k gold which is the lowest I have been since Wrath. Have gone on a mission testing out gold farming strats. I am now up to 200k+ while being fairly casual about it.

/share your secrets man! I really need to investigate some strategies and build up some gold. Tried a few things but raking in 3-4k a week for a couple hours invested does not seem like the best methods.

RL - relaxed and yard work with the wife, overall it was a good weekend. Took yesterday off to enjoy the weather a little more.

WoW - have not played much, keeping my barn full of wolf hides for fur and blood. Had ZERO luck with LFR this week so that was kind of depressing. Have not had much time to play and have not felt like playing much so just keeping up with my garrison and doing my 2 LFR's.
