Can't check the game right now because I'm in the middle of upgrading my PC. It's just strange that I didn't receive any kind of notification. Did you get an email or anything?

Nope. Wasn't sure until I logged in and saw the server list/character select.

-Thank Celestia I don't have to go through them. Click and Buy wanted a photo copy of my driver's license, a bank statement, and a few other things. What the hell else could they ask for, a stool sample?
-I tried to get in a few days ago, and they wouldn't let me in, so today's cutoff was probably code registration for those who already applied, no?
-Hopefully there's a text input option. It was hell to find some things in the XI AH.
-I'll be playing on a wireless PC controller, with a wireless keyboard, from the comfort of my leather recliner, using my 47' flat screen as my monitor, so it should be the same experience as a PS3 only with insanely better hardware.
-That sounds......adequate?

S/E does not use click and buy anymore. Just log into your SE account and they have payment methods there like credit card and crista etc.

I got a question. Me and my missy just got ARR.

I already installed my game, but she can't until tonight. Should I wait until she gets home to pick a world?
I don't want to be stuck on different game worlds lol.

With all the errors you may have to wait until next week some time.

Square Enix Support Center: 1-858-790-7529

I have some advice if you are still trying to reach support. Follow the list below:

1.) Get a ticket number from the support website. Skip this step, it's a hassel.
2.) Call the number above and wait. Be prepared to have over an hour of wait time. Someone WILL eventually answer.
3.) When someone finally answers, they will ask for your Ticket #. Tell them that their Ticket number system had an error and you could not get one.
4.) They will immediately and without question give you a ticket number. Please write this down in case you have to call back.
5.) Do not under any circumstances tell SE support that you have given your account information to anyone at all, ever. Not even your mother. Or your twin brother. If you have given your account info to someone, who cares? SE does. Don't tell them.

At this point someone will actually help you. Chat support and email support are not good at all. But phone support is actually functional after the initial wait.

You WILL NOT have any trouble verifying that you are the account holder in the event of a lost key fob or software app. If you stay on the phone someone WILL answer. The is by far the best way to get actual support fro SE. Email can take days and days. Phone Support is a waste of a couple hours but at least you will get what you need.

Hey LebargeX, can you get this stuck into your guide somewhere?

Thanks again for more great info, Gnu. This has been added.

I've also corrected the link for the FC.

Perfect, since you added the Cust.Serv. to the thread name people can find it easily after it gets buried. No need to sticky the original thread.

I know I often refer to my own notes to find that pesky phone number! Good to have it in a permanent location.

So, how much of this can you do before you re-do the whole main story? I just logged back in a couple days ago and am currently running through it all to re-acquire my airship pass and will need to get my GC rank back up and such.

Could you clarify by what you mean by "this" ? And re-do the main story? Did you start over or did you have a char from 1.0?
#61 Mar 04 2014 at 8:59 AM Rating: Good
"This" was referring to the items in the main post.
I have a character from 1.0. She has 5 classes at level 50. However, all my quests are re-set. I had to begin the main story from the start. My level 50 CNJ had to re-apply to the CNJ guild and start that story over. I have no airship pass, cannot access the inn, and have lost my GC allegiance. I was told I had to re-earn them through doing the story again. It's a bit overwhelming.

Ah yes, that's the case. The lore explanation is that all the 1.0 characters were erased from people's memories when Louisioux sacc'd himself to stop Bahamut.

You'll unlock all the usual stuff by the end of the level 15 quests (inn, airship, etc.) Stick only to the quests that have the flaming icon since the rest of them aren't main scenario and you'll want those for exp if you ever pick another class to level. After level 15, the intro story is over and you start unlocking dungeons and primal battles and all that good stuff.

You can do your class quests independently, if you want to focus on those first.

$30 for 60 day time card and goofy amounts for crysta and why is the company not running on central us and canada time?
