Where and how do you get seeds that are not level 1?

My Gobby has been cultivating. Now that he's skilled up past the first tier I can't find seeds anymore. The only place I've ever found to get them are some quest-giving roaming goblins - well, that or buying them on auction. They give them as a reward for quest completion. But they are still only level 1 seeds. I've never found them to drop from mobs. The people selling them are getting them from someplace?!

I thought maybe if I had a toon that was a cultivator and a scavenger I would scavenge seeds. So I attempted this on my Zealot, but you can't have those two trades together.

Keep growing the level 1 seeds. You will get "Special Moments" where you will get a plant of the seeds level AND a plant of the next level. Reap the next tier plant for a next tier seed.

Thanks!

I tried farming again last night for a bit. I had no special moments. I was only using seeds from the merchants though. Not sure if that matters.

Merchant seeds are the only normal seeds that exist anymore. The drop ones are blues, BoP, and drop from lvl 40+ heros. So just keep at it. Try to watch out for a lvl 25 plant to pop in your inventory, if you are using lvl 1 seeds that is.

just concentrate on 1 or 2 types, i start off with healing and ap

also are you using the mod Miracle Grow Remix?
much smaller window and easier to cultivate during combat.
it takes a while, ive been running 15-50% fail rate (and it SUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKS to have 5 crit fails outa 8 when doing lvl 200), but usually get 1 specal for every 25 normal (not counting crit fails)

Yeah, I don't spend much time on my cultivator but keep advancing a bit at a time. I can't make stuff while in combat. I been growing int and health plants as my main is a Sorc. She's nearly maxed in talisman making and maxed in scavenging, the two combos got me covered.

As raghalin said, get Miracle Grow Remix and you will very easily be able to grow seeds in combat.

Now if only someone would make a mini-craft window for other crafts.
