Lobais Swift Belt - Post UpdateFollow

So looking to do a LS Swift Belt run. We did one before but due to Fomor Hate issues, only got 3 runs down (Hume, Mithra, Elvaan). Those went pretty well, but we're hitting a spot where several of the people with max hate that want a belt are Taru.

I know there was an update that reduced his effectiveness, but I haven't found anything to the point of how much it's dropped.

Has anyone fought Lobais before/after the update and can comment on how doable it'd be to work about 3 runs of this Taru into our runs?

Honestly, just don't fight the Taru, he's not worth the trouble. Astral Flow might have been weakened, but with his Grim Halo and BLM spells, he's still a bastard. Just go on a few fomor killing sprees in Lufaise at night or something.

Just bear in mind, if you farm more codices, killing taurs counts as lowering fomor hate.

Yeah, but not too sure if there's a way around that part of it ;)

So farm Codexes, then annihilate Fomors...got it :)

Just have other people pop the NM instead of the tarus, and kill lots of fomors between NM pops and hopefully someone has enough hate to pop it for them. This assumes everyone is there for a belt of course. Just have the people that are to pop for the tarus go first and you'll have to pop it for the tarus last.

Yeah that's what we're looking to do. Big reason I was asking is that the tarus already have max hate from last time out and 3 of our 5 or so poppers have 0 hate :p

But we'll be avoiding Lobais when we go
