Is it possible? Tryin to unlock xarc access to help ls w/ ADL was hoping I could get it done w/o wasting a ls members perfectly good farm session.

Awesome, would shock squall be enough to stop death? Also not sure why you're being rated down for being helpful

In any real case, the only troublesome Dynamis boss is Angra Mainyu from Beaucedine Glacier. Mostly due to his 4 dragon helpers. If you're an above average soloer, with some decent gear, you shouldnt have any problems taking out the bosses up to Beaucedine. If you can find someone to distract all 4 dragons, even he shouldnt be too much of a problem.

As an aside, even though you can't farm cities in a way that you are always attacking optimal mobs for JA procs, if you take a few folks in to the zone you CAN get an okay haul of coins, though TEs are a PITA.
Also it is worth considering that you aren't the only one that needs city clears, so do a shout and grab a few folks. Do even split on currency, relic freelot, you won't have trouble finding 2-3 other peeps.
I mean you CAN probably solo most of the bosses, but why not work with some others?

We tried to clear Dynamis Windurst for someone in the LS who needed the clear. I went as BST/DNC with a few other players on assorted jobs. We really didn't go in prepared, but I thought I would be able to handle it by myself if things went south. We wound up wiping multiple times and never did get the clear.
The fight started off badly, since entering confrontation despawned my jug pet. It wasn't until the 2nd attempt that I realized the main NM was taking out my pet with Death. I attempted to use Violent Flourish to stun Death on subsequent attempts, but I didn't have any success with it. Maybe I just got unlucky.

As long as you have a good haste set you can generally just WS to interupt death. Just don't get cocky and use your TP to kill it, just wait for the cast and hit it as soon as you see death in your log.

This may be the case that you failed, and not sure how long ago you did this, but just wanted to point out that SE changed Dynamis bosses so pet's don't despawn at pop anymore.
Just did dyna-bastok boss the other day on BST and had no issues with pet depopping when boss was popped.

Yeah, this was quite a few months ago. The level cap was 99 at the time, but it's been the cap for a while now. I vaguely remember SE patching that, but I wasn't sure.
That should make the beginning of the fight a bit easier. You would still need to get some hate on the two helper NMs, snarl, and quickly switch to the main NM so that you're ready to interrupt him when he readies Death.

Not quite the same topic, but related: I want Dynamis-Tavnazia access but only have one of the prerequisite zones cleared. What's the best way to go about getting the others?

CoP zones can be soloed too on bst, at least valkurm and bubu, havent tried qufim yet.
