I am going to be returning some what from an extended hiatus.. I started back when the game first came out and played it religiously.. Never exactly got any where so I wouldn't consider my self "seasoned" I was young (10 or 11 I believe) at the time and was more concerned with making friends and that sort of thing. Since then over the years I would come back every so often and play for a while.. Though battling and questing seemed more accessible I wasn't able to form parties.. find many people and such.. I just reinstalled the game tonight.. and hope to start playing when the celestial nights event starts up. (which is always fun) once I know which server to start on. Which is why I am coming here for advice as well. I would love to come into a link shell with a combination of seasoned and new folk. I look forward to seeing you all!
I reply to all of these "new/returning player, what server?" posts with Bahamut, look for Yzerman (ign) or Lightchaos. Part of the TaylorGang linkshell, very friendly and helpful, and actually doing Abys and some other high level events.
Also look for Kalypzo, Dougiefresh, Mekdreth(sp?). I'm on during most days and nights (Yzerman) so you should find me easily.

I'm brand new to the game. Just started playing two days ago I have really no idea what I'm doing. So do you guys know a good server to start on where I can actually Party up with new people. It gets old playing by your self. I'm usually on 5am to 3 pm gmt

Ok. it should trim down two hours if you have good internet. But I won't be on at that time ill just start a character on the server your going to use than when we get the chance ill help you level so we can try and stay the same general level.
