Looking forward to trying more Legion, and hopefully getting more scrolls drops from PW^^

EDIT: Nvm, apparently the JP notes say PW has been tweaked to drop more EQUIPMENT, not scrolls...

I'm guessing the lowered chigoe level means players won't be able to use them for the Thunder staff trial that requires killing vermin. I feel bad that players who don't already have their thunder magian staff will now have one less choice for that trial.

I hated the update. Then I noticed that when I press CTRL or ALT my macro palette pops up almost instantly. Now I love the update.

My favorite part was gaining 5 slots by petrifacts now stacking to 99.

Matter of perspective. As mentioned above, those chigoes were probably the easiest non-Abyssea way of going about the thunder staff trial, and most likely certain other trials as well.

It depends on how much they were lowered. If 51 or lower, yeah. But if there's a minimum level to get geodes that's higher than that (like 60+), maybe it'll still work. And the chigoes elsewhere will still be over 51. (Just watch the AFK geode farmers try it in the other zones now...)

If it gets EXP, it gets geodes.

The only way for this nerf to have any effect whatsoever would be to drop the level so low that they become Too Weak to 75+, which would mean no trial credit either.

Ignore, apparently there is a high level requirement on geodes... which was odd to me because I could have sworn I've seen them drop in a level sync party long ago...

They said it'd come in a future update, but they didn't say exactly that this update would be when those are added.

Discrepancy between update notes and what in-game text says for Snake Eye merit. In-game text says 10%, not 5.

Edit: Did a quick test before I'm heading to work. Out of 20 attempts of Snake Eye with full Snake Eye merits, 9 of them resulted in an instant 11. I excluded the times that I rolled a 10, as obviously I wouldn't be able to tell if the next 1 was natural or forced. So far seems close to 50%, but will need to test more.

Further Edit: Did another 40 attempts on my lunch break. In total, out of 60 attempts, 31 were successful at giving an instant 11, so I think the in-game description is currently the accurate one.

I loved the update. Then I noticed that macros don't fire off instantly anymore and you have to wait for the macro palette to pop up resulting in angry button-mashing. Now I hate the update.

I was in Grauberg working on another trial, so I gave this a shot. The chigoes are now too weak at 99.

That's gonna suck. Being a BLM mane I was happy when I got those done, I eventually want to get all 8 trail staffs done eventually ( currently trying to finish my fire staff, flame geodes are a pain to farm though and I don't feel like paying 50-70k a piece for them ).

I feel bad though for anyone doing trials that relied on those chigoes as a means to pass the trials. =/
I guess they couldn't just make it that those particular chigues don't just drop geodes in general?
