I have used this extensively, but for the last 4 months it has not worked or even had an update to get it to work. Is Zam gonna have it fixed, or is it just going by the wayside?

The item collector developer who was working on this said he was having trouble patching it. We haven't heard back from him since mid December so he either gave up or just quit without telling us. I have been in constant communication with ZAM about the state of the item collector and we have had some movement on their part on this so we'll see what happens in the future.

It's definitely not working on Windows 8.1. Which, makes me sad -- I'm one of the few people on the planet with no issues with the OS other, that is, than this one...

It is up and running again!
Noticing something new with the Item Collector--thanks for getting it back up! I'm in the bazaar with a trader up at the moment, and the collector seems to be looking at other PCs and NPCs:
Server has accepted item data.
PLAYER: Sienniks[29918] level: [62]
PLAYER: Kaechan[29921] level: [26]
PLAYER: Halkaab[29927] level: [1]
NPC: Tahladorf's Mount[29931] level: [30]
Player Hock[29952] level: [105]
NPC: Koch's warder[29955] level: [102]
etc.
I don't recall it ever doing this and I've been using the collector since almost inception. I don't want to get in trouble with DBG that it might be snooping others? It seems to populate a new line every few minutes (~3-5).

This is normal for the program. If you set the program to quiet mode you won't see these messages.
