Had time to parse some logs, and look over notes I've taken along the way, and thought I would post the stats here, in case any other casuals would find it useful:
Since I started this "season" of EQ, since my last return, it's been almost exactly one year (one year + 3 days). In that time I made almost exactly 13 levels, and had almost exactly 13 days /played, averaging just over 51 minutes a day. Spent some time doing tradeskills and other activities that don't generate much (or any) XP, but for the most part, it's been high value XP efforts. During that time, I also made 4444 AAs (not including auto-grants, and none of these were at the low-AA bonus rate).
So, what did I do in 13 months to make 13 levels and 4444 AAs? I did 69 HAs, and completed 205 Teek dailies. That's probably about 95% of the XP I got in that time. Almost all of those HAs and Teeks were done under Lesson, so double XP, and a decent chunk (20-25%) of the total were when we had bonus XP on the server (holiday weekends, etc). Also, maybe 15% of the HAs were done with the daily bonus quest, so some extra XP there, too. So you can see, most of my play sessions were log in, and do a couple Teeks or HAs under Lesson. Pretty casual.
So, if you've been trying to max level for a while, and just want to get it done, stick with it. If you concentrate on the high-value quests, it goes surprisingly quickly!
