Weekend Update for July 11th, 2016Follow

I'm actually away most of July and hardly getting a chance to do in game EQ or Allakhazam stuff (thankfully other volunteer admn are doing a great job with things).

In game I moved a few things around character and gear wise. I'm dabbling with a few side projects (as of this weekend):

On Povar: I consolidated my heroic necro here (technically my original server) and unretired my troll SK "Banner". Banner was doing a slowplay thing in classic content but I am tired of that so I'm just playing him into 50s to see if I actually like the class. I might even level the necro a bit... but it's likely either SK or Necro here, though I have a decent chanter sitting in the 60s too.

On FV: I'm still debating doing the "all my gear onto a level 1 new character" thing. Leaning towards either a Paladin (never got one past 20s iirc) or a wizard. Logged in my long-retired box accounts and shifted some gear around. Nearly all my old mains are rusting away here too.

Trakanon: I have a monk farming some old trophy mobs. Running out of things I can do at my level (and bank space).

Phinigel: has become a dead end to me, haven't enjoyed the slow grind 25-44. Debating trying my cleric that has sat there at level 10 since early classic era... though it's often tanks missing as far as low-mid level PuG stuff goes.

Cazic Thule: this server is about double the active players in chat channels than Povar... but the only player I know there is a dabbler that mostly plays on Tunare. I'm probably better off playing my ranger that is on Tunare... though I have a great 57 bst here that is tempting too.

I'm also debating going bard for the first time. Rolled two of them with the same name on two servers.

All of this is too much of course (I don't have the playtime to progress more than 2 characters in any reasonable way) and I am going to dabble on the Quarm server when it launches in a few days.

I have many characters across 4 accounts on Xegony but only play one character now as a main on Phinigel with a low level cleric alt I play from time to time.

As for Snailish's litter of character options - I'm sure many of us have that many characters just waiting for the right incentive to head to the next thing. I just can't do it in the heat of the Summer when there are so many other things crying for attention.

I've spent the last ~week camping the Burynai Cutter in Field of Bone on Phinney with my 20 Barb Sham. Haven't seen the jerk-face yet.

On the plus side, I get to annoy snailish and the other admins with new database stuff.

Another plus is helping/buffing/gifting n00bs, but I do that all the time anyway. [:humblebrag:]
