It's been about 3-4 months since I played EQ regularly. Recently I signed in to do some of my favourite Halloween quests. Well....... On my main server (Tunare) my account still showed as silver and I had access to all 14 chars. On the same account but other servers, my account showed as F2P (Green) and I had access to only 2 chars. I don't need anything on my main server chars, but would have liked to do the quests on other servers. Almost every available char was a level 2-6. All of my higher level chars on those servers are greyed out.

I don't want to resubscribe just yet, as other interests (shooting and hunting) are taking up a lot of time right now. Frustrating to say the least and not at all conducive to encouraging me to return. With every change, I like DBG less and less......... Is anybody else seeing this on any of their accounts/servers?

I forget the date, but if the account was created before that date, it went back to silver instead of f2p. Three of my paid accounts are on silver status.

After that date, paid accounts revert to f2p.

Weird that they show different for different servers.

On my silver and f2p accounts, all of my characters are available. Prestige items requires paid to use. Could that be why the higher levels aren't available?

Oh, Daybreak customer service could take over a month to get back to you. Good luck !

I'll confess that I can't stand the "subscribe" spam so I give them my money even for times when I am not playing content that needs "all-access". $15 to let me play in peace is how I view it.

If your goals are all short-term KC13 it might be worth subbing for a month (even though you sound like you won't be able to play much)?

Maybe the weirdness self-sorts when the paid month expires?

Is available characters was based on alpha order or creation date or something else? Delete the level 2-6 characters (if they mean nothing to you) and see if the higher levels are accessible?

I logged in yesterday, and all servers on my main account are again at silver status. Only my main server allows access to all of my chars however. Other servers are still bizarre. On Cazic, a different 4 chars were greyed out than when I originally posted. Strange things are afoot. Smiley: eek

If you're worried about your characters, it's only $15 to subscribe for a month.

If nothing else, it will allow you to ensure everything is proper (along with playing the game for a month).
