I plan on boxing two accounts on one pc, my question is does eq support and can I use extended display. Character A monitor 1 , Character B monitor 2. Am I just better off using both accounts on one monitor and just switching between them manually.

check out http://www.lavishsoft.com/

wineq2 is free, innerspace/isboxer cost 50/year.
I have used the free program for years, about 4 years ago i upgraded to the subscription and will never go back.
There is a wiki and will provide all the info needed to get it up and running.

The simple answer is EQ just sees two monitors as one big monitor. You can box as you describe easily without needing any added software altho the programs referenced above are very good. Just not necessary to run two EQ instances on two monitors connected to one computer.

I play two PC's, 4 monitors. It works great. Although My wife thinks I'm insane when she walks in and see's everything in action.

I box characters that can be managed actively in different parts of a fight as a group. Puller (Monk), Tank (War), Buffs (ENC), Utility & DMG (Druid). Then add Healer and Melee/Caster Merc's.

Years ago when my son was much younger (he's about to graduate college) he'd sometimes sneak into my game room with some of his friends to gawk mouths agape at me running EQ instances on 6 different monitors at the same time. Their attitude was worshipful at the time... but then they got older. LOL

I run two accounts on one computer with two screens. I have to have them in windowed mode to have them be on their own screen. Mouse over to which account I want to control and click puts me in control. I think winEQ would allow you to do it without having to be in windowed mode.
