Level 44 Bard InstrumentsFollow

Yes, the lack of level on the bard instruments is because they are probably twink gear from the old world era, that can be worn at lvl one. Some years back they put the skill/focus for bards on the armor.

Even some common "defiant" plate visibles has some bard focus listed on them iirc.

This drum is part of the ongoing Vah Shir class quests. My Bard is a 44 Vah Shir and cannot equip it. Many of the other instruments have no required level either and are not able to be equipped.

No aug. I see no reason, other than a bug, why it can't be equipped either.



Yes I have. There was a dearth of instruments available, but most of them showed as red titles, thus not equip-able. I was going to /petition the char, but checked my 21 Bard on another account and it was the same. I will check on the Heroic Bard later when I get a chance.



No shroud either. I have been /bug'ing this for over a year, no action as yet.

EDIT: Here are the Bazaar results at the moment, less Defiant gear. There is only one instrument showing green and equip-able.

I went and had a look at this quest, and noticed that when I did this quest, the lute WAS equip-able on my Bard at that time. It was NOT equip-able on my PL'd level 21 Bard on a silver account. Since that time, I allowed my gold account to drop back to silver for a couple of months due to personal issues. I recently brought it back to gold status. I wonder if that dropping to silver was responsible for not being able to equip this and other items????

Edit 3: Just tried equipping the red title items, and they equip, the title then turns green and remains green after returning items to inventory. WEIRD!

Edit 4: This is indeed a strange occurrence. In inventory or while searching the Bazaar with both primary and secondary slots full, many instruments show with a red title. If you empty both slots, the items still show as red, but are equip-able at which point the titles turn green. They remain green when returned to inventory, but turn red again if the primary and secondary slots are again filled. This is a real problem when searching the bazaar for items which may or may not equip when purchased. Very, very strange!!
