Your mains... What combo are they?Follow

All female

1) Dark Elf Warrior
2) Dark Elf Cleric
3) Wood Elf Rogue

This is the core of my group. I have some rules as far as race/class combos are concerned that might fit the discussion. I have a whole lot of characters, with at least one of every class. Most of my characters are 80+ but the general rule for me is, there are only a couple good* races for every class:

Warrior: Barbarian, Dark Elf, Wood Elf, Half Elf, Human [the irony being, my highest Barbarian warrior is level 37 and I have a dorf who managed to go from Gloomingdeep to 85 in two weeks of play]
Shadow Knight: Dark Elf, Human
Paladin: Half Elf, High Elf, Human
Cleric: Dark Elf, Human, High Elf, Drakkin, Erudite
Druid: Half Elf, Human, Wood Elf
Bard: Wood Elf, Half Elf, Human
Berserker: Barbarian
Beastlord: Barbarian
Enchanter: Dark Elf, High Elf, Human
Magician: Dark Elf, High Elf, Human
Monk: Human
Necromancer: Dark Elf, Human
Ranger: Half Elf, Human, Wood Elf
Rogue: Barbarian, Dark Elf, Half Elf, Human, Wood Elf, Dwarf, Gnome, Drakkin
Shaman: Barbarian
Wizard: Dark Elf, Human, High Elf, Gnome, Drakkin

When I say 'good', I mean to me. My judgment has nothing to do with stat allocation (which doesn't matter and hasn't for almost a decade) and almost everything to do with aesthetics and popularity. For example, my main druid is a Half Elf because I've never seen many of them around on any server I've played on. Sure, you can't walk 50 feet without tripping over at least one Druid, but it was far more likely to be a halfling or wood elf instead of half elf or human. I'm also not into anthropomorphism so the animal races (Iksar, frogs, cats) don't merit consideration. I have at least one of every one of the above combinations, except dwarf and gnome rogue. With only a couple exceptions (Drakkin), I like to keep it classic.
