I know it's out there somewhere, but I can't find it. Could someone, by example, tell me what the level ranges are. For example, a level 60 toon would see green for what levels, light blue for what levels, etc.

Thanks for your input.

Light Blue, Green and grey are variable based on your level so impossible to give you hard numbers.

Red = 3+ levels above you
yellow = 1-3 levels above you
White = equal level
Dark Blue = 1-5 levels below you

I read in another tread on a different board, **** maybe this one, that the con ranges are like this.

Red +4
Yellow +1 to +3
White 0
DB -1 to -5
LB -6 to -10
Green -11 to -20
Grey -21 and down

From what I have seen that is **** close if not exact, esp at L60. Now at L70-75 range it might be expanded some, or might not. Someone else will have to add on that.

I do not think that light blue, green and grey are variable based on your level; con colour is iirc:

red: = level+(4+)
yellow: = level+(1 to 3)
white: = level
dark blue: = level-(1 to 5)
light blue: = level-(6 to 15)
green: = level-(16 to 20)
grey: = level-(21+)

Just playing devil's advocate...

If what you are saying is the case, a level 20 character should be able to get exp in the newbie yard of the appropriate zone.

I think the con range is level based, but it is only evident at lower levels.

May I also add that a Dark Blue con in Antonica != Dark Blue con in newer expansions. Depending on your gear, mobs in the newer expansion often equate to equal, yellow or even red cons from the older expansions when difficulty is taken as a factor.......

The con level ranges as I wrote them based on the OP question is correct.

I just dinged a L55 beastlord, who was fighting this mob. Notice there level range.
http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=24602

They were all DB, guess what some of them did when got to L56? Yes, some went LB. Same thing with a L60 bard, they were all LB, ding L61, and now some of them are green. For the beastlord some are now -6 levels, and for the bard some are now -11 levels. Hence the con change for about 1/3 of them.

Now on the matter of under L20 game the cons are not all there.

L1-9 there is no green/LB con- Mob DB, ding they go grey.
L10-16/19 range there is no LB con. One mintue there DB, ding the next they are green cons. You have to get beyond L19 to start seeing LB con mobs. Then the system works from there. And so far it works that way.

Again beyond L69 I don't know if SOE expanded the range, or not. I will find that out soon enough.

I am pretty sure that a red con mob is 3 or more levels above your level, so at 75 a red con mob would be 78+. So yellow would be 76 or 77. As for DB, pretty much what was posted, 5 levels below your level(at 75 that is 74-70).

SOE expanded the range of yellow con mobs to be 3 levels higher than you.
