Screen resolution when boxing :: EverQuest

I'm boxing 2 toons on the same 'puter. They display on the same monitor, etc. The EQ is running from a different directory for each.

They are running in windowed mode. I get different screen resolution on one than the other. I go to the Options menu/Video mode for each, select the same setting -- 1024x768 (highest available) -- and they wind up being different.

I *KNOW* it's related to the settings in the different directories. But I can't find it.

Any ideas?

if you try to run both at the exact same time in windowed mode and have both on the active desktop your system had better have about 4G of ram and one h3lla video card in it.
{slight exageration on the ram, but not on the vid card}
to answere the res. settings check your eqclient.ini file that should have the res. settings, or once in game go to ctrl+o, or it is alt+o to get to options and change the res there.

You may want to look into getting a helper program like WinEQ2 to manage resolution and graphics. I began to use it when I started 2-boxing on the same computer, and it works like a dream. I set one toon as prime, and have normal graphics settings, and my follower healer I dumb down to minimize on both CPU and video RAM. Here's the WIKI link, if you or anyone else is interested:

wineq helps a ton i 4 box on my computer, and only need 2 gb ram for it with good 400mb ram free after al 4 up but rez i use 1280 x 768, i have 19" lcd monitor ati 9600 128mb vid, can't have texture high nor all luc modles on or else only 3 box or have mem issues. i want 256 mb vid but though i'd wait a yr for 512 mb vid to be out
