Lets change things up abit and jave a thread about your favriot/least favriot undercons.

In no specific order...

The skelly guards in the paineel newb area. Most green cons dont have a gagillion hp.

Embassador dvinn in crushboe.

Freeport guards.

Jord Kriegers in BOT.

The entire GOD expansion.

Freeking kyv and noc in Dranik scar.

Stoneworkers in RCOD.

That damn gorilla off the coast of FOB

bah brain lapse but I am sure you guys can think of more. We can also do overcon/whimps.

Did a couple of noc's and a couple of dragoon commoners NP all dark blue I was self buffed and had potions Then I pulled a kyv heartpiecer I started with about 74% hp I took a lv7 HoT potion right away I used Lay Hands and another potion ended up using discord preist to port me at 22 the kyv was still at 45ish. Damn talk about feeling impotiant

a drachnid from stoneroot falls

These things have killed me faster than many raid mobs I have gone against.

A DB mob should not be able to kill you in 1 hit Smiley: frown

Almost every Caster NPC in the game. They are ALWAYS warriors with mana and spells.

About every mob in the OOW expansion with those insane procs.

As far as the named gorilla in FOB I think about every epic mob is like that, much like Cazel and his insane regen.

I would have to go with the rouble rousers in AR and six arms guys in vt as the biggest undercons there is. They don't deserve that many hps.

The shades in Maidens that can harm touch up 700ish hp are huge undercons. The vampires also are nasty for the recommended level for that zone.

Some are most defenitely undercons but those druids are overcons. They are the weakest kind of caster unless the roots and snares actually land on you.

RS named are undercons despite being lv 73. At least the ones that charm half of the group.

Any of the kyvs, nocs, or ukuns in dranik scar are huge undercons.

Just about any mob in dranik sewers is an undercon. Don't go there ever.

Those gnoll casters(not the clerics) in splitpaw(pre-revamp) either charmed or feared you. They are nasty. They were either necros or chanters.

Lithiniath in Plane of Mischief could be considered an under-con.

It's about 63ish, and even with high resists there is a good chance you could be feared, blinded, summoned, then beaten to death.

Not a nice combo.

I would have to agree with DT. Unresistable 32,000 instant damage is one of the "unfun" parts of Everquest.

Well, when I hit level 65, I was feeling pretty uber and decided to go "home" to Everfrost for some payback for every "vengeful" ambush, and every mistaken "corrupted" encounter that had whacked my noob barbarian fanny. Since I become independent of air with my AA's and such, and wanted to try some crafting of cultural stuff, I went into the lich caves to gather some ice skelli bones. Wandering here and there gleefully swatting down skellis and watching my superwolf gnaw things before I could even get a hit on them. Came across a DB con robed dude with an eyepatch...the name: Sulon McMoor. Had a wimpy pet, but you never know with these casters... so, buffed up Fluffy and myself, memmed my heavy hitters and decided to have a little dance with this dude. It was ugly. Nothing is landing, dog is dying, I'm getting nuked into next week. Disciplines, that will do it! Next thing I know I'm running for my life across the snowdrifts praying that no noobs are loitering the PoK book. Pfft! There they are, a whole bunch. Decide to die to keep from nailing the noob hunting party, turn and see...nothing. Run back to the ice hole...nothing. Whew. Go to Halas, have a brew or six. Camp, get on Alla to look this dude up. Lesson learned.

"a fierce cragwalker"

I cannot tell you the amount of times this b@stard has agged, summoned me, and pummeled my poor druid to death.

Sidenote - I FINALLY got this guy to drop this weekend, after, seriously, multiple attempts resulting in "Loading, please wait..."

And as my group and I were spawning him, guess what dropped?

Shell Inlaid Collar. =) WEE!

The guards for the newb zone to the entrance for the hole. They con green to a lvl 15 but hit like freeport guards and have the regen to boot

whoopsy missed that one in the list.

Also the odd mole in the top of kurns tower for the warrior armor quest

Dorn B'dynn, ah the memories he brings back. You knew back in the day you had a good puller if they could pull that derv camp and NOT get Dorn in the process. I remember many a time running for my life to the guards praying someone would kill him before he got me. One of the more serious undercons in the game.

OOOH, right on, Galthran! Change my vote to Odd Mole in Kurns! By jiminy, that little bugger has pounded me and several alts mercilessly! Looks like a guinea pig on Starbucks.

Pendle Dashinger, in the Field of Bone -- is located just outside Kaesora -- easily one of the hardest in Kunark. Have seen chanters charm him when they fight The Tangrin off the shore there for epic. Have pulled this NPC to the guards in Cabilis and watched him take on 3-4 at once and win, even have the guards respawn. I believe he has been nerfed a bit but still he can take on 3-4 guards and summon them! Not bad for a level 35 mob.

A kyv Headhunter in Draniks Scar. LB to lvl66. Surrounded by 3 LB boneretrievers. Like level 45, but they hit for 400 and summon. Also, all mobs linked. I think they undercon to prevent pet pulling. Any pet low level enough to pull single gets one-rounded.

I would have to also say just about every single mob in every expansion Planes and higher.

One I ran into recently while leveling my baby beastlord was a Frost Giant Elite in GD. I was mowing through the scouts pretty easily when I tagged a "blue-conned" elite and he proceeded to beat the crap outta me. Pet had to take one for the team.
