Trickshot AA :: EverQuest

If anyone has gotten this ability could you please let me know if it is necessary to carry extra arrows even with EQ or not. Also is the damage from the second shot equivalant to the main one and how often this ability happens. (example 1 of 20 shots ect>)

no extra arrows need with EQ, it a free shot with the bow about the damage i am not sure since i never really bow dps and i dont look really when i do

I got this AA now. The costs are 3/6/9. What the AA does, is give you a chance to shoot two arrows at a target 2%/4%/6% of the time. With EQ, you do not loose any arrows. I would assume that without EQ, you would loose 2 arrows when ever this AA went off.
