Good morning everyone, here's my weekend:

Wed: Two LDoNs in Mistmoore, we ruled! Didn't ding 31, but there's not much left... Searched bazaar and found a Corroded Girplan Helm for only 100pp, nice!

Thu-Sun: No EQ. Visiting my to-be parents-in-law.

Mon: It's my birthday Smiley: waycool

Sat - Finally hit 60 on my iksar necro. God I hate the xp penality.

Sun - Spent the day in PoN and ground out 3 AA's so I could get Mnemonic Retention. That extra spell slot really comes in handy.

Fri - No Eq friends over for dinner and hung out with the wife gaining faction.

Sat - Worked on finishing up a task in the warrens and trying to build faction with the Heretics so I can turn in the Kobold Molars. Made it to 50% into 16.

Sun - Finished the first evil task by smoking the light blue bandits in WW. Got me to 60% xp into 16. Think I'll get 17 tonight in PC and head back to the Warrens and get my faction up.

Spent most of the weekend on monk, trying to get the Brothers Grimm (Brother Zephyl in Rathe Mountains, Brother Qwinn in South Karana) to spawn. I read all the info I could get but just didn't have any luck. I even had several trackers helping, killing suspected PHs and what not.

Also attempted to spawn the AC in Ocean of Tears (I claim temporary insanity). I would hit PH, then a seafury. Managed half an AA and then went to POI to finish pinging #3. I find out Jboots are the same as run3 anyway (doh!), oh well got lots of loot and xp from the seafuries. Druid got her drop from the Corrupted (soloed it too!).

Can I borrow some pp please. My Paly only has 3.9k hp and needs 7.5k.

I was away this weekend. My weekend Highlights; I successfully planted and trenched my tent to stay dry through 5 hours of straight rain (Yay!) and I visited the "Great Escape" Six Flags Park.

I joined one of the most mind-numbing PoI groups imaginable. Had the ladyfriend on the phone and she asked if I was playing EQ. Told her yes and she asked if she should get off. I said "God, no.. please." After a couple hour long fugue state of mindless tanking though, my shadowknight had cleared the final gold to ding 53 and got half of 53 done as well.

Aside from that, a lot of clearing mobs in S. Karana to try to get the Mighty Quinn to spawn for Dot and a few Poisonmaking skill-ups for the rogue. Slow weekend.

"A few kpp" brings my current total to all of about 7k. Whoring for buffs doesn't make one Uncle Moneybags!

Friday : Got Fed up of constant EQ Grinding decided I needed a small break / time-off try something Diffent.

Saturday D/L Eve on-line Tried it out Got Extremely Hooked

Sunday: Realization seeps in This Game will Kill My EQ time although I proabably will never quit EQ. This game made me realize what EQ was missing, no PLing no Teens(Either that or they are mature enough to be likeable) Equal Opporutnity for all Not just raiders, finally a PvP System based off Skill and not just gear and LvLs. Lastly Skill based system, not Tied down to classess or Races which makes the Gear / Skills/ Ship Combo's limitless. Oh and one more thing......endless ways to play! Researching/Fighting/Bounty Hunting/Mission Running/PC Bouty Hunting/Manufacturing/CEO etc etc once again limitless possibilities.

PS please don't flame me, this was my week-end report, I did mention EQ in it.

EQ is still my main thingy, but this game, let's just say this game is alot more relaxing than EQ 8)

This is close enough to my own weekend that I figured I'd just quote.

On Sunday night, I actually got online late, logged my Shammy, and mindlessly mashed divination and evocation spells while catching up on Tivo.
Consequently, both skills are now maxxed.

GenCon was fun, but I'm seriously craving some EQ at this point.

Friday after a trip to the DMV to turn in my license plates, I logged on the beast and killed tae ew for the beginning DOn armor task. Kept killing them as they were a nice spawn spot. Even brought on the womans enchantress to two box with a bit. Chanter dinged 22, Bl to 26. They do make a nice combo as long as the chanter and mezz when she gets aggro. Was playing without her pet up.
Friday eve. Elne Clare was still not up to using her comp so I logged on Winjon and Jonwin to look for the lucid shard in DSP. Lucked into a shard for Winjon when the cleric who was in the caves let me know one had dropped. After a bit I logged on Courtin in place of Winjon and continued to kill. Jonwin played around with h2h skill and it is now at 63. Also did some language trading back and forth.

Sat morning I ran the chantress to HHK for her spells and killed the bandits in the cave outside. Trained courtin in erudinite. Went out to give a tour for my part time work, then went to a party at a friends house.
When I came home I logged on the chantress and saw a guildie on who had stopped playing about 5 months ago. He had logged on with the 21 day offer to strip his charaters. (He is lost to WOW along with most of the formerly active members of Courtins guild.) I ended up with his plat, some radient crystals, and the few pieces of no drop armor he had on 3 toons. Talk about timing. Had to creat a new mule just to clear up some space in the active folks bank.
Sunday saw me bouncing between the ranger on a task in Gunthak, Courtin moveing the bank items around and my starting a iksar monk as the new mule. Went to my moms for dinner, seeing Elne's grand kids, especially the 6 week old Erin Violett, for the first time in a month. My mom had embrodered a quilt for her and had bought some violett colored baby clothes. Ian got a train and a toy Mustang car so that he wouldnt feel left out.
Came back home and played with the ranger some more. dinged him to 37 upon completing the task.

Friday: Got home from work. Went out with wife, kids, friends & relatives...went to sleep drunk. No EQ.

Saturday: Helped father-in-law fix his truck, saw relatives that came in from Washington DC, Dallas, Houston & Tulsa (I live in Fort Worth). Watched movies until 2am with wife, kids and a cousin that stayed with us. No EQ.

Sunday: Church. Out to eat. Mowed the lawn. Wife yelled at me for trying to play EQ (she says I play it too much). So, we agreed I'll play Tuesday and Thursday nights and one day on the weekend. No EQ. =(

I am going thru SERIOUS withdrawls =)
