Bazaar Needs a Deity FilterFollow

With the new Cultural Augments that seem to appear every where how do you filter them out? These new DoN Cultral symbols are getting out of hand they are making it very difficult to find anything in Bazaar. Every blacksmith vendor has 50 or more of this, one for every armor slot and deity. Not that I have anything against selling but you can't do a find without exceeding to 200 items limit. and forget looking for an Augment, Has anyone found ways to filter out the deity items?

Putting your Class and Race in there should help since specific races of specific classes can only have certain deities.

Unless you're a bard and can worship almost any non-evil deity (plus Rallos!).

Try searching for armor for a Quellious worshipping wood elf Smiley: grin

Bazaar needs more than that....like when you are looking for a specific level spell...like say 55 Paladin....You should be able to ONLY pull up the spells for a Paladin at level 55. But this is not the case....if a spell has other classes that can use it it also pulls up those as well. So in my searches I get Spells that can be used by a Paladin but not until level 61, because a Cleric can use the spell at level 55.

So, it's quite annoying.

I have done serches with a Troll Shadowknight and come up with Symbols of growth augments among others. Not many Troll SKs worship Tunare.

bards can have veeshan too! i think they must be the only class.

they should have an augment filter like alla, you can chose: only augs, or no augs, or unfiltered

For the DoN cultural augments just put the keywords in the search text..

Tunare: 'of Growth'
Cazic Thule: 'of Terror'

etc..

You should know by now what your deity's tag is.

Not sure what you want to do then. Give me an example.

Do you want to filter out everything that is deity specific?

Not saying it wouldn't be helpful to filter on deity, but there are ways to get around 200 augs showing up in your search.

I search for the dropped augments by using the name, like 'skyflow', or just the word 'flow' and put the stat you are looking for on the filter.

Actually, I have no idea Smiley: frown

But I haven't looked, either. Especially 'cause NO ONE makes mid-range Erudite DoN plate armor

When I do a search for an Augment (looking for a OOW Augment), Race is set to Troll, Class is set to ShadowKnight. I will max out the limit of 200 95% of them are Cultral Symbols. Same goes for any Armor slot unless I put in AC when I am actually looking for AGI. The Bazaar on MS is flooded with Cultural Symbols augments. If there was a deity filter at least you would only see the ones you could use, being as the only restriction on Cultural Augments is Deity any race or class can use them

Yeah. There's lots of improvements they could make to the bazaar interface. Adding a deity tag would be nice for starters of course.

It would be really nice if they'd completely revamp the interface though. We should be able to select multiple tags. We should be able to apply "and", "or" and "not" arguments to each one.

I'll give a simple example. As a paladin, I know for a fact that my best deals are almost always going to be "paladin only", or "knight only". But currently, a search with my class in it will return any item that includes PAL. It makes no disctintion between items that are just PAL, or PAL/SK, or PAL/CLE/WAR/RNG/SHM, etc... It would be great to just click the classes you're looking for and select whether that's an inclusive or exclusive search (ie: items that include any of these classes, or items that include *only* those classes).

That would take a bit of coding, but would add greatly to the ability to search effectively (although it would admittedly make searches quite a bit more complex).

Another search criteria I'd really like to see is ratio. Doesn't need to be fancy. Just allow me to sort weapon searches by the base ratio on the weapons. Also allow me to set a min/max ratio as well. While this doesn't really affect me right now (I'm not aware of any sellable weapons in the game better then what I'm currently using), it was a really annoying issue back when I was bazaar shopping to fill in weapons and look for possible upgrades. There is absolutely *no* way to search or sort weapons and have any clue which ones are better then others. At least with armor slots you can sort by AC or HP or whatever criteria you're looking for, but for weapons, the stats alone aren't going to tell you how good the weapon is. Let me sort by ratio, and then I can quickly go to the ratio range I'm looking for and look through just those weapons that are likely to be up or side grades from what I've got.

It would also be great if they'd allow you to page through returns instead of just truncating them. But that might be more overhead then they want to deal with.

Joph--Cazic Thule's tag is 'of Terror'. Don't know Quelious (for your bard) but an easy search here will net you that information.

You can eliminate DoN augs using the word 'flow' in the search for OoW augs. Thats the vast majority of OoW augs.

If you want the others I guess you would have to use the keywords like 'Sodalite' or 'Kyanite' etc.

Words like 'of minor' or 'of pure' will get you those too and be sure to filter on the stat you want.

If you ONLY want augments set type to 'Augmentation'.
If you ONLY want to look at armor for a given slot and do not want to see augments of ANY kind, set type to 'Armor' (or 'Jewelry').

DoN player made augments are ONLY for the visible slots so if you are looking for some other slot besides Head, Chest, Legs, Arms, Wrists, Hands, Feet, set filter for your slot.
