Question about returning to the gameFollow

Hello.

I left Everquest about... oh, a little under a year, I suppose. Plains of Power was still new. Anyway, I have been contemplating returning, and was wondering if, like on some other games, reactivating your account brings back your old characters, or if they are dead and gone forever.

If anyone knows, please let me know.

I was gone for over a year and expected to come back to an empty server. Imagine my surprise when I logged onto Rodcet Nife and there were my boys, awaiting my return. Here's hoping you have a similar experience when you log back onto your old server.
