Frustrated crackhead needs HELPFollow

I have been having a ton of crashes lately coming up with the this error message

EQGAME caused an invalid page fault in
module EQGAME.EXE

I have tried to reinstall EQ. I have also done complete file checks on both eq and my pc even after re-formatting.

I updated drivers for everything I can think of and have done virus scans, etc. The OS I use is Win 98, and am connected via cable internet. If anyone has this same error or knows what I can do, I would really appreciate the help, thanks!!!
