Druid help?Follow

#1 Mar 15 2004 at 8:45 PM Rating: Decent
I am new to Everquest, and I have a question.
I am a druid, and I was wondering if druids could wear robes. If not, what can they wear, for my wood elf's wood garb (the clothes I started out in) are getting old.

Thanks,

Greetings,

Wood elves can wear cloth and leather armours of all sorts. As you rise in level, you may pick up pieces you can use from the mobs you kill. There are also starting armour quests now for all classes that will get you going.

If you have some money, take a trip to the Bazaar zone on Luclin and do some shopping there.

There is another way to get armour, and that is to make it yourself - but that is a slippery slope to Smiley: chug or Smiley: banghead, followed by therapy! Smiley: smile

If you want to follow the third route, then take a trip to eqtraders.com and explore the wonderful world of tradeskills.

Hope this helps!

There are a few robes that a druid can wear, Crystal Covered Shroud is one that springs to mind. If you can pick one up at a low level it would be very good.

However generally the robes are quite limited in the stats they bring you and usually only worthwhile for visual effect, if that is what turns you on.

If you want to develop useful stats such as Wisdom, Mana and Hit Points, you need to go in search of the true Druid clothing, which is mostly leather and a lot of it is player crafted for the lower to mid levels. (Actually even at the high levels).

There was a time when the green and blue leather from the Kobolds in the Warrens was the ultimate low level fashion wear, but I guess the newbie quest equipment is better nowadays.

Although the https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=5207 did look fetching.

Here is a useful piece that you might be able to aim for https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=7096
