EQ not working..any help would be appreciatedFollow

So I have EQ evolutions running on Win 2K pro, direct x 8.1.

my box is
AMD 1.5 MHZ
256 DDR
GeForce 3 128 MB


Everything was working fine, and have had no problems until the other night, EQ patcher loads fine, and then when you get to the server select screen, and then select the appropriate server, then click "play" it crashes and you get the msg. EQGAME.exe has generate errors, and will be shut down. I have tried rebooting, deleting the file and letting the patcher pick it back up, and even uninstalling the game and reloading completely. Nothing...any Ideas before I reload Windows?

that is your problem. as of a few patches back dx9 became manditory. you are still running dx8.1, you need to upgrade both your vid, sound, mb, and dx drivers.
