Original Strategy Guide???Follow

I don't have a paladin, but I doubt a book would help much since there are frequent additions to the game. Its probably better to check out allakhazam and search for items to see what can be found in a given line. Also check out the bazaar on your server to see what you can buy and afford. Strategy guides are better for strategies, maps, and other advice. Their static nature precludes them from being a good source for the latest and greatest in outfitting your character.

As a paladin you will get Cure Poison at level 9, Endure Poison at level 15, and Cure Disease at level 15 (nice for mummy hunting). Although I'm not quite sure why you would want a strong resistance to poison at a lower level (unless your hunting snakes), there are quite a few jewelry items that will enhance your resistances. A blue diamond electrum earring comes to mind.

Take a look at http://www.eqtraders.com and look under the recipes for the enchanted jewelry section. This lists quite a few items and their stat enhancements. You can also head to the bazaar and perform a search. You can search specifically for poison resisting gear.

eqcastersrealm has a pretty decent character guide that includes spells, their locations, effects, mana cost etc..

There are also strategy guides there for level ranges and a pally usable equipment database.

Soem of it's a bit out of date, but all in all it's a great reference tool.
