I recently twinked a chanter and got her to 14 and i wanted to know where i should charm solo at? Usually i just charm a white/yellow con then send it towards a mob and slow/DoT/nuke the mob and sit back and regain mana. Any good places for that?

Lake of Ill Omen will be a good place for you soon. At the lake you can go from 16 to 30(though those last few levels might get a little slow. The Overthere is another great place, 30-40 go easy and fast with Dreadlands being the next step for 40-51!
In time you might want to stick to charming blues and using them to attack yellows and light reds. Blue charms tend to stay charmed longer on average, and with you slowing and nuking the enemy mobs, they'll drop fast. try to let the blue survive so you can kill it yourself for the exp. I normally invis when my pet is below 20%( most mobs then run away from you and one nuke finishes it off).
