Could someone give me a link to the SOE EQ site that tells you server status, whats up or down, etc. Their web site has so much sh*t on it I can never find what I want.

Login problems on U.S EverQuest servers.

All US EverQuest servers, Kane Bayle, Antonius Bayle, and Venril Sathir were brought up after the patch this morning. However, we are experiencing a seperate issue with the login servers which are preventing new logins at this time. We currently have no ETA on the downtime. We apologize for any inconvenience. - The SOE Game Operations Team

This is too funny-that site is being updated and I can't get on there either. Thank you SOE for another great weekend.
[edit] ok, now that site is back up and so is my server WOOT, well of course I can't log on but it's UP 3 cheers

Am I the only one who seems to remeber that SOE more or less ALWAYS has massive server maintanance shortly before the weekend then ***** it up and needs the whole saturday to work it out?
Leiany, they have to do it on Saturday because no one ever logs on then. Oh, wait......
What annoys me is when the servers are down but the EQLive site claims they're working 
I downloaded EQ Status and it's simple, relaible, and handy to have.
The neat feature is that when it's minimized, the icon that sits on the windows toolbar is red when your preferred server is down but turns green when the server's back up.
It's not been upgraded since Stromm etc. came along but still worthwhile for most users.
Oh - and it's Free

Wow the status on all the servers looks like it's spazzing. Says down every 5 seconds.
It shows Bertox up but I still cant get in, getting a 1001 error.
Why they do this sh*t on Saturday, when I actually have time to pay???

SOE forgot to pay the finance on the login server

I haven't been able to find anything about a patch either. I've noticed when I attempt to log on, I'm checking for updates, as usual, but not finding any. I wonder if their patch didn't quite make it out to the patch servers... Perhaps that has something to do with being denied access? ..just a thought.
Nobby, great site. Downloaded it. On that site servers are popping up and down like jack in the boxes.

Still can't log in. It would be nice if Sony updated their current status message so we might have some idea when the login issue will be fixed.

You would think that they would be in more of a hurry to get the login server back up seeing that 99.9% of players play on the weekend.

well its getting to be hour 3 of not being able to log on. As you can the EverCrackheads are all waiting for their crack to come back online. As we can see here this fellow is about to shoot himself because he has to get his 15th character to lvl 65.

Holy frikkin Moses. Is anyone else starting to get really p*ssed off about all this downtime? Every da*m time I go to log on it seems the game is not active in some way. I normally play nights and weekends (let me rephrase...I WANT to play nights and weekends), but it appears that any time that people would actually log on to enjoy thier game, there is a new error or reason that they can't!
And for all of you people that preach about "the whole other world outside of EQ", go take up bungee-jumping and stay the h*ll outta my chat rooms and off my forums!!! I enjoy this game like everyone else that has accounts, so when I look forward to logging on for a few hours, I WANT TO ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME da*m it! Addictive or not, its da*m frustrating when you get a big NO in your face when you go to log on.
I JUST WANNA SCREAM! >:O

I know it may seem kind of picky, but for my monthy fee, I would actually like to log on and play from time to time. I know it is demanding a lot, but the weekends, I think, would be a nice time to play, since I don't have to work.
Perhaps we could get SOE to take a look at letting us play occasionaly on weekends.

I can log in, but as soon as I connect to a server, it starts to load and then crashes...
So I thought that I would check the forums on eqlive.... they are down as well and lo and behold so is the chat server..

I'm on right now. Several guildy's have been on for a good while. It appears that the login server came up several times and people got on but if they logged they couldn't get back. So the login server may still be comming up and down.
nope, i tried for 2 hours clicking login constantly and it hasnt been up for at least that amount of time : (

Hmmm, I'm into Bristlebane now - the chat chaneels were up and someone suggested a complete file check... it only found one file - but after that I was in.. sounds coincidental - but if anybody is still having probs it may be worth a shot ?
