crafter UI/ Forage macro problemFollow

#1 Feb 25 2004 at 9:00 AM Rating: Decent
Somehow a couple days ago, I clicked on something that made it so my crafting UI does not automatically come up on the spit in my inventory, but it will on a brew barrel. At the same time, the /autoinventory in my forage macro quit working. Does anyone have any idea what I did to mess this up and how I can fix it?

thanks

TS containiers can be locked/unlocked with ctrl + right mouse as far as I remember.

...and I didn't know that /autoinventory is a working command =)

Before this changed for me if I opened the spit it automatically brought up the new UI (and it still does on my other character) now it just brings up the slots in the spit. I can still bring up the UI by CTRL right clicking but it's not automatic anymore. For my macro it says
/doability 1
/pause 10
/autoinventory

this worked until about 3 or 4 days ago ( same time as the UI quit working ) I'm assuming that I was trying to do something by clicking buttons and messed it up. I recently came back to EQ after playing DAOC since it was released so I'm still trying to remember alot of things.

This seems to be bugged. I bought a Tailoring Kit and it comes up with TS UI skin. But the Jewel Kit once TS-deactivated does onlx open on TSUI if I Ctrl-Rclick. There semms to be no way at the moment to revert a TS container to automatically open with TS skin once you shut it down.

Im inclined to go along with that, I have tried every combination of CTRL rightclicking, CTRL R Rightclicking, CTRL rightclick every damn key on the keyboard and I can't get it to work again.

And that seems to be for all tradeskill containers in my inventory although the fixed ones still work.

(Havent looked to see if theres a setting in the ini file though -- might try that later).

there is a button once you get the new ui open thats gives the option of having it open automatically or making you use the control right click

humm

Well there is a section in the character UI files under [tradeskillwnd]

On the characters i'd messed up there were two lines at the bottom (started with show and overide).

In the end i deleted the whole section just to get the obvious sewing and fletching kits to work.

However, im sure when i first shut the option down i got something with the deluxe tool box and assembly kit of .. cant remember what i was carrying) - that wouldnt come back ../shrug

I would definately try it to get a spit back though

Once you get it open in the TS UI (cntrl + right click), there is a button in the bottom right corner that says "use cntrl rclick to open" or similar. Select or de-select that button to control in which mode your containers will open.

Thanks that fixed my crafter UI problem.

I still can't get my forage macro to work correctly. I even deleted it and retyped it. I have a second character and the macro works on that one but not my main. I typed

/doability 1
/pause 10
/autoinventory

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Nah, its the crumbs in the keyboard that's the real problem
